I was doubtful when I booked the place due to several reviews. However, I forgot all my doubts when I saw the room, really spacious. I was doubtful whether to have dinner at the place but as the other one recommended was closed we decided to give their restaurant a try and it turned out one of the best places...

This rural hotel was absolutely lovely! The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The rooms were clean and better equipped than your average hotel. We would definitely go again. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety with lots of nice treats to choose from.

Reluctant to share this gem which we discovered three years ago by chance having got lost on a day trip to Ronda from Malaga. El Burgo is a white washed village in a valley of green fields surrounded by mountains. Only one hostel and one hotel. We chose the Casa Grande on a bed & breakfast rate and loved our...

The hotel is centrally located in a traditional village. It is an old building that has been renovated to a modern standard while retaining its traditional style. The bed room and public areas were all very comfortable and service from reception to dining room was professional and friendly. Our evening meal had generous tasty portions presented with attentive service. Breakfast...

Marian and Salvador (and Roberto the cat), were perfect hosts, helpful, friendly and with lots of tips for places to enjoy. The communal areas of the hotel, were beautiful, very heritage/hunting lodgesque. With a lounge and a great selection of books, and even a games room. Our room was simple, but impeccably clean, with a plentiful supply of clean towels....

This is a great location in the village of El Burgo. Our visit was early in the season and the rooms had not been heated for some time. The staff did everything to heat the bedrooms up with extra heaters and turning the central heating up. The beds were very basic and not that comfortable - breakfasts could have been...

The five of us drove from Mijas through dramatic mountain senery to the Andalucian White Village of El Burgo in the Sierra de las Nieves Nature Park. It was mid-October 2011 and the weather was sunny and very warm. When we arrived at La Casa Grande we had to ring the door bell to gain entry. How strange we thought!...
