I stayed there on the night of the 6 August 7.0 Lombok earthquake. Old, not too well maintained but roomy bungalows with good facilities like a nice swimming pool and restaurant and dead cheap. Few minutes walking from Senggigi central. Ladies at the front desk not to good in English but with patience you manage or they will ask someone else. Staff performance after the quake was superb. I'd been in some restaurant in central Senggigi when the quake came and luckily all escaped unharmed (one woman with small wounds in a foot since she stept into to glass). All was dark since power was cut. Walking back to Bukit I saw it in full light since they had an own generator - even internet worked and I could inform family and friends even before the thing was on the news in Europe! Bukit (means literally 'hill' in Bahasa) is on a hill which gave safety during the Tsunami warning. Hotel took up over a 100 guests of a low lying luxury resort who had to wait with us on the hill until the warning was withdrawn. Next morning they produced despite all problems a decent breakfast. Helped me and others finding transport to airport and ferry. Just very well done.

In the middle of Senggigi. Value for money. Simple rooms but good enough for sleeping. Nice Pool. Because of distance, limited noice from busey road. This Is an budget hotel, nothing fancy. You find your entertainment outside

Stayed for couple of nights in this hotel which beautifully sits on a hill slope near to Sengggi town center after completed a 3D/2N Rinjani summit trek from Sembalun-Sanaru. (Jul 2017). The superior rooms with partial seaview come with standard facilities, i.e.air-con, attached bath & TV (all local channels). Sadly, few of them require greater maintenance attention. A technician was sought to fix my air-con due to intermittent fan motor problem and to my surprise he did not even remove his shoes while entering my room... maybe that was the local practice! Wifi is only provided at the reception & at the huge restaurant which faces the sea with plenty of cool sea breeze coming your way while you enjoy the complimentary breakfast, simple spread with either omellete/sausage or fried noddle with orange juice & unlimited caffee/tea refill. The staff were mostly very young, but all friendly and helpful, including the young manager James. I even got a free motorbike ride from a staff to visit Pura Batu Bulong which is approximate 2km away. Overall the stay was fine for the negotiated price, you get what you pay for. But, I wonder if the hotel will stay for long...

Although the location of the hotel is good, and the staff is very friendly it is a real mess. Rooms dirty in very bad shape. What made me really mad that they are simply throwing the garbage over the fence to the next empty plot. Totally careless, zero responsibillty!!!! There sholud not be a space for such kind of hotels in Lombok!!

It's always been convenient to stay here whether overnight or a few days but, the staff has changed yet again, and only one person(in the office at reception), understood English so my Bahasa was working overtime. The rooms have deteriorated beyond belief and are now rock bottom. Holes in the ceiling, aircond unadjustable, mozzies in the bathroom thru the unscreened fan vent and bugs coming in under the door after dark. Don't know what happened with the "ongoing upgrades", in 2014. After swimming and enjoying a couple of Very overpriced beers at the pool I even had to go and collect my change after waiting 10 minutes, from inside the restaurant in my wet pool gear. "Sorry, Forget", yeah, right!
