My husband & i stayed at Windy Beach Cottages & loved every minute of it. Nestled on the beachfront quite a way from Sengiggi it was always quiet & peaceful. Would stay again in a heartbeat. We had the Special Cottage which was great, although as stated previously the linen & pillows left a little to be desired. Fantastic time...

These rustic cottages are set in a superb location, surrounded by palm trees and shrubbery just along the beach. The staff are very friendly and the food was delicious (try the seafood spring rolls and the potato dumplings!). It feels quiet and secluded and the beach was pretty much empty making it a perfect romantic getaway. Emphasis however is on...

I'm sitting here listening to the waves crashing on the shore wishing I didn't have to leave tomorrow. Not sure what I was expecting for the price we paid in comparison to the other hotels in the area, but very surprised and happy. We stayed 3 nights in the special cottage it was great apart from the temperamental shower hot...

Forget all the other overpriced hotels in Senggigi, Windy Beach is the place to be. The little cottages are everything you need, in the middle of a wonderful tropical garden next to the beach. The breakfast is delicious, the pool amazing, the staff very very friendly, they arranged a motorbike for us within 5 minutes and the value for money...

Windy Beach have got the best bit of Mangsit beach with good snorkelling right out the front. The cottages themselves are fine with a/c and fans although, as a previous user notes, they are a bit warn. For example, the fan in one of the ones we had (no 10) was so noisy as to be unusable at night. A/C...

Stayed here for 4 nights, negotiated the price, 380.000 (40 us dollars, 27 euros) a night, off season price! Had a lovely little A/C hut near ocean. Mosquito nets hanging over beds, romantic room. Only negative point: no way of getting a warm shower (you have to choose between boiling or cold). Rented a motorcycle for 50.000 rupiah a day,...

We booked directly with the hotel, and had to complete a booking form and fax it to the hotel to confirm the booking. The hotel is in Mangsit, about 3km away from Senggigi. Taxi from the airport to the hotel was about 83000Rp and we arrived late at night when there was a power cut. The reception and restaurant has...

We paid 500,000 Rupiah per night including breakfast in August high season - doubtless cheaper in other months. It was full most of the time we were there, and understandably so - worth booking in advance. Positives: One of Lomboks first tourist hotels, which bagged one of the best stretches of beach. Perfect if you like to be right on...

We happened to stumble upon the windy cottages and we are so happy that we did. The bungalows are lovely& the pool was great. The food is mediocre but who cares, really, in this location? There is enough space so that you can have a lot of privacy, we didn't leave for 3 days & had a great time just...

If you’re looking for cozy, clean and traditional cottages, good beach, nice pool under palms, great surrounding and mostly kind staff, windy beach is the recommended option. The little resort is located at an almost ‘privat’ beach at the very end of Mangsit bay, bungalows are embedded in a huge garden, with some open-sided pavilions seaside for breakfast or dinner....
