Our light, spacious, air-conditioned double and twin rooms surround a generous pool set in a beautiful tropical garden. We bring the outside in with our open air, garden bathrooms and the ‘eco’ theme continues to our roofs which are naturally insulated against the heat and planted with lemongrass. Ibludan’s fan-cooled, vintage style little wooden house (Ibludan Villa / Bungalow), complete with kitchen, bathroom and a choices of open sitting and lounging areas downstairs, offers privacy and a lovely place to relax. Ibludan is in a great location for getting around; we are a 400m walk from our local beach, Tanjung Bias - where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets and delicious local dishes - less than 10 minutes drive south of Senggigi,15 mins from Mangsit Beach, 20 mins from Mataram, 50 mins to Bangsal (for fast boat and North-west Gili connections) and less than an hour from the airport. Montong is a terrific place to find authentic Indonesian food - during the day there are plentiful 'warung' serving nasi campur and in the evenings, numerous 'kaki-lima' (pop-up food and satay stalls) cook up a storm.

We arrived at night around 8.30 pm. The owner greeted us at the parking area, and helped to carry our luggage to the room while explaining the facilities and the surrounding. She was so welcoming that despite a tiring day I felt refreshed with her energy and warmth!

Like most have mentioned, the place was very well kept, serene and very clean! The garden, the pool, the room, the huge bed, the shower, the breakfast, and the polite staff were all excellent. There was no in-room fridge/kettle, however there was a pantry nearby which we can use without hassle.

I especially loved the homemade breakfast - the granola, bread and jam were very delicious. I felt like having a second helping every time. Pity we only stayed here for 2 nights, wish I could return one day. It was also interesting to know where the name Ibludan derived from.

The nearby Tanjung Bias beach was a short stroll away where you can find a lot of stalls by the beach. We had our dinner there and the food was surprisingly finger licking good.

I am so glad I chose this hotel among many others. Thank you to Sophie and the ever helpful son and the rest of the staff who made our stay memorable. I wish the hotel success and continue to become the best among the best.

Beautiful grounds, clean pool, clean spacious rooms and open air bathroom. Water pressure was a little low, but manageable. It is a beautiful little space about 10 mins away by Grab to the hustle bustle of Senggigi where the good food is. Fresh made to order breakfast of either granola and yogurt, scrambled eggs and toast and homemade banana jam. Refillable water station always a win as you avoid single use plastic bottles throughout.

Only downside are the roads OUTSIDE where the local warungs are - dirty streets, rubbish strewn, rubbish/plastic being burnt openly. We were nervous eating out there for hygiene reasons so we travelled to Senggigi for food.

I could not recommend Ibludan highly enough! Sophie and her family are so welcoming and lovely, I felt so at home during both of my stays (I have stayed twice now). The rooms are super clean and spacious and the bathrooms are lovely and tropical. The shower is amazing 😍 The homemade breakfast is really yummy and the hotel is in a great location between Mataram and senggigi. The pool is set in the middle of a beautiful garden. If you are planning a trip to either Mataram or Senggigi, you shouldn’t miss staying here! It’s the best!! X

Very friendly service, the best breakfast I've had on the island anywhere (including five star hotels), and a beautiful jungle of a garden surrounding a refreshing swimming pool. Really excellent value for money. And if you like the idea of traditional Sasak food (also great value for money), Sophie will show you where to buy from a local Ibu who is famous across the island. Her stall is just around the around (5 mins walk). Oh...and a fridge full of cold beers!

Thank you very much for your extremely kind review, Peter - it's always a treat for us when you stay here and we are really glad that you enjoy our place too! Our immediate area certainly provides a plethora of local food delights, especially in the late afternoon/evenings, and Ibu Mar must be one of the best :) We look forward to seeing you back here in Lombok some time in the future for more exciting exploring!

You can tell when a business is run with love and that’s Ibludan Hotel’s case. Sophie & Hella with the rest of their team, including her adorable daughter, make you feel at home from the moment you step in their oasis. Located 10 minutes always (by bike) from Senggigi, it offers beautiful gardens with amazing pool and very neat and spacious rooms. Everything is in perfect condition, well maintained and very clean. Breakfast is perfection and they have THE BEST SCRAMBLED EGGS I’ve ever had. Seriously.
Sophie is always around with recs around the place to fall in love with. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Stayed here for 3 nights, having booked on the basis of trip advisor reviews....absolutely loved it. The hotel is new and it is immaculately presented....down to the smallest detail, lovely spacious rooms, beautiful outdoor bathrooms, the pool and garden are so beautifully designed and cared for.

The couple who own and run it, Sophie and Hella (not sure if that's spelt correctly!), are lovely and welcoming, so accommodating with anything you need, as are the super friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was lovely and made fresh whenever you decide to roll out of bed.

There isn't too much to do in the immediate vicinity, but Senggigi is only 5/10 mins away, so not an issue. For a little Eden like getaway for a few days of rest and relaxation, I can't rate this place highly enough, certainly hope to be back in the near future!

Matt

A rose amongst thorn's, hidden just back off the busy main road yet so quiet & peaceful its amazing. The rooms are superb, well thought out & spotlessly clean, its a credit to Sophie & her team. Breakfasts are spot on, all you need to set you up for a days exploring with plenty of dinner choices within walking distance down into town. The beautiful gardens, pool & surrounds make this a hidden Gem.

We stayed five nights and really relaxed here after a few weeks travelling through Indonesia. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed, rooms are airy and spotless, as was the outdoor bathroom. The pool was clean and refreshing, the breakfasts freshly cooked and tasty, best place we have stayed in Indonesia. Its just a couple of dollars taxi to get to Senggigi beach from here, and there is a reasonable choice of local warung restaurants within easy walking distance. Sophie and her husband are wonderful hosts - helpful, friendly yet not intrusive. We would unreservedly recommend this place!
