Stayed only one night but wouldve stayed more if had the time. Rooms clean and airy. Nice garden and pool. No lounge but cafetaria was like a lounge with table games and large tv and of course drinks and snacks. Good base for hike to the gorge or laze around the lake or enjoy wandering around the little village.

Lovely quiet location with the rooms set in a well set out garden with pool. The rooms are beautifully quiet at night and the beds comfortable so a good rest is assured. Breakfast is good, with the local honey and mountain tea a must. Friendly and helpful staff make this a relaxing stay. Great Value for Money.

Very nice hotel at a great location just above Zaros. Large garden with trees, sun beds and swimming pool. Rooms with private balcony. The room we had was comfortable although not overly cozy. Rich breakfast buffet and you can eat inside or outside on the terrace. The hotel restaurant serves fresh trout (among other dishes). All in all a great... More

Coming back from eastern Crete, we wanted a hotel near the Phaistos Palace we wanted to visit before going back to Heraklion. We basically picked this one at random from Expedia, late in the afternoon. We arrived almost at sunset and did not see much before going to bed. In the morning we realized the hotel is superbly located right... More

We came for two nights but stayed for four because of the the great gorge walking, the friendly village people and the excellent staff at this rather lovely spa hotel in the mountains of Crete. They provided very good breakfasts, were attentive to every need and the value for money was the best I have found anywhere. The rooms are... More

We have spent 2 weeks in this beautiful, tranquil place. We enjoyed tasty breakfasts (included in price) and spacious garden with large swimming pool. We traveled a lot to nearby beaches in a rented car. I highly recommend Idi Hotel as it is high value and family-friendly place!

Friendly staff, a nice pool and good breakfast. Lovely location surrounded by mountains and olive trees and also a very relaxing garden. The standard is simple but the room was clean. We found a stray dog outside the hotel that we just could not forget so we came back and adopted her and brought her to Sweden. Her name is... More

Beautiful and inviting hotel, excellent maintenance, delicious breakfast although not changing every day, room cleaned and organized every day, towels changed every two days (that's enough). The hotel staff are very nice, helping all the time and try to give a good solution to any problem. I would expect the hotel will get more stars. Great price for compensation
