Arrived here following a long walk from Riu de Cerdanya, it was pouring with rain! Very helpful staff, friendly welcome with beers offered. Great little room, with the bedroom up a flight of stairs. We were driven into nearby Bellver for an evening meal (which was a Catalan delight) and picked up afterwards. A delicious breakfast the following morning, and...

A simple but not basic hotel. We stayed one night as part of a walking holiday. The rooms are a minimalist style with much wood and stone and a white bathroom. Very comfortable. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is a feast of a Catalan affair and picnic lunch provided was delicious and inventive (not just a sandwich!).

Quiet bed and breakfast, just outside of town. Friendly staff, very helpful. Breakfast was simple, croissant, orange or pineapple juice, very good cafe au lait, toast and jam. Ham and cheese available.

Be sure you head north of Barcelona to Bellver de Cerdanya (Lerida/Lleida province), and not west to Lerida/Lleida city; it's about one and a half hours from BCN. Of several hotels in the Bellver area, Cai Rei, in the hamlet of Tallo', is easily one of the more rustic and quaint. Lots of buildings in Spain are NOT handicap-friendly... the...

My husband and I had a timeshare week here in Sept. The apartment was on 2 floors with the bedroom up some very steep stairs. I'm 70 and need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and had to go down these open stairs in the dark even with the light left on at the bottom of...

We were RCI guests but had returned here several times due to the stunning scenery, the reasonable distance from our French home and the fact our dog was welcome! We had an upstairs unit which we had requested in advance as we found the downstairs rooms cramped and dark, especially with a dog. The unit is pleasant and comfortable enough...

Very basic accommodation but in a beautiful area. We were with an RCI timeshare exchange and found the unit to have seen better days. It was dark dingy and uncomfortable. There was lots hot water however and wifi was included. The location in a quiet village was good and generally quiet. A car was necessary to see all the area...

We used an RCI exchange. The RCI units are dark and quite dismal and overlooked the courtyard. I asked for a balcony duplex which they were happy to move us to but did advise these are not RCI units. However the hotel was almost empty and we checked in on Saturday and by Monday we were the only guests! We...

We loved this little hotel in the beautiful Cerdanya valley. Everything was well maintained and the hotel hosts were very nice. After hiking and walking all day, we would arrive "home" every evening to the best food ever. The couple running the restaurant, Tess and Alfonso, were fantastic and so warm, friendly, and gracious. They absolutely made this visit the best...

We checked in for a day or two and were immediately impressed by how nice the owner was. We also liked the peaceful setting amongst fields and farmland....yet only a mile from the village. The room was a bit small however and I being tall had to watch the ceiling at all times. The layout was bathroom/sitting area on the...
