A warm and friendly hotel. Excellent service with good menus and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Small swimming pool, only criticism was the lack of a drying room; we were on a walking holiday.

We stopped at the Hotel la Coma for two nights during our Catalan Villages hiking holiday. We found the staff incredibly helpful. We arrived looking like drown rats, having been caught for two hours in thunder, lightning, hail and monsoon rain - in July. To our surprise they offered to dry our gear. After we had emptied the water out of our boots, we handed over all of our wringing wet gear. They said they could put it all in the boiler room. Lo and behold, the next day we were able to collect perfectly dry everything. I was amazed that even our sodden boats were stone dry. What a bonus! Our room was pleasant. The bed was comfortable and there was nice bedding. It was very clean and it had all the usual amenities. There was a balcony and nice views of the mountains. We were there in the first week of July and just about everything in the village was closed for holidays, so we ate dinner at the hotel. The food was excellent, both in terms of quality and value for money. A typical meal for two, including starter, main course and dessert, with a bottle of good house red cost us a mere €52.50. All of the hotel staff were personable, professional and friendly. At breakfast, in addition to the excellent food laid out for us to help ourselves to, they also cooked us an omelette. They are delighted if you speak Spanish and bend over backwards to be nice. Hint: drink your red wine chilled, Catalan style. Drink the house red. It is delicious, refreshing and inexpensive. Drinks at the bar can be a bit pricey. Two G&Ts set me back €22 A word of advice: Locals in Setcases all seem to go on holiday at the beginning of July and just about every single restaurant was closed. We had already quickly learned the word ‘tancat’ – closed. It was everywhere.

We stayed here for two nights on our walking holiday and had a warm welcome when we walked in! Our room was beautifully finished in light oak and was comfortable and with a small balcony overlooking the view of the mountains. Dinner was mercifully early for Spain (7.30pm!) and after having a drink in the cosy bar area we were first in! The food was good and the service friendly. Breakfast was fine and we were offered fried eggs or omelette which was very welcome when you're walking.

Stayed here for two nights during a walking holiday in the Pyrenees. A very warm welcome and clean modern rooms with a spacious balcony. No air conditioning which makes sleeping on warmer nights more difficult. Breakfast was buffet style with a reasonable selection and an omelette was also offered. Dinner was good and service excellent. Nice lounge area to relax in pre/post dinner. Lovely grounds with a guitar shaped swimming pool and a robotic lawnmower. Stunning views of the mountains. Setcases is a charming place, make sure you visit the local shop and there is also a "beach" at the other end of Setcases by the river!

This hotel it's very nice. Right at the entrance of the small village of Setcases. We had a little accident when we got there, our reservation was missing. However they solved the problem quickly offering an alternative but suitable accommodation and invited us to free meals to apologize for the inconvenience. The only thing they could probably do better is the restaurant that I would say it is not at the same level of the hotel. In general it is good but there are little things like: soup not really worm, the coffee is pretty bad, service is a inaccurate etc. In any case overall I highly suggested staying by here.
