We spent 2 nights here as part of a week long walking holiday. Curro gave us a warm welcome. Our room turned out to be a very spacious apartment with large sitting room, bedroom, well equipped and modern bathroom, small but adequate kitchen and large balcony. Curro was on hand to answer any questions and give recommendations on local restaurants....

Everything was perfect, especially the excellent customer service from Curro! Beautifully decorated, much more spacious than we'd imagined - even better than the photos.Superb location for getting around Cabo de Gata Natural Park in your own transport.

The Bitacora is about half a mile outside Las Negras, on the hillside overlooking the bay, with beautiful view from the apartment balcony. Curo, the receptionist and general factotum, is an engaging young man who speaks good English and cannot do enough for his guests. When we arrived after a long day's travelling, he helped us with our cases, then...

Spent a couple of nights at Bitacora. Greeted at reception by Curo who was very welcoming. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel and from the outside all look to be a similar size. We had a bedroom (en-suite shower), sitting room and small kitchen. All very clean and presentable. Breakfast was good. No lunch or dinner service at...

We booked 2 rooms at the apart-hotel Bitacora through Inntravel, a company specialised in "slow travel". We had booked the accommodation and a guide for self guided walks was provided. We wee not sure about what we should expect. Firstly we were exceptionally welcomed by Curo at arrival, shown 2 one bedroom apartments that were spotless and we had even...

We recently stayed at the Bitacora and we had a wonderful time. The rooms were spacious, very well put together, extremely clean and had lovely views of the ocean. Hans, the owner, looked after us and made sure we were well taken care of. They drove us to Agua Amarga so we could hike back to Las Negras and when...

We had booked the chalet (house) but due to a burst water pipe, we were offered apartments instead, with a small reduction. Owner lives in Netherlands so staff on the spot had to use email to contact. Took 2 days to sort, but did eventually get what we thought was reasonable reduction. Not really Hotel, is a few apartments and...

A simple, clean hotel, it was only serving breakfast while we were there and the owner wasn't there, but two girls ran the place themselves, they didn't speak English, but we managed with simple Spanish. The rooms were apartments with a terrace overlooking Las Negras, it was a 20 minute or so walk down the hill into Las Negras, and...
