My wife and I spent a weekend here recently and it would be hard to find a better B and B. The whole place was spotlessly clean and Ron and Lindsey were perfect hosts. We were in the family room which was very spacious and comfortable with views over the stream and the garden. The breakfast was as good as anywhere we... From the minute we arrived we felt most welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable and Ron and Lindsey were perfect hosts. The Yorkshire breakfasts certainly set us up for the day ahead!! Will definitely return to the Bridgefoot for future visits. The village is absolutely beautiful with lovely walks. Jeanne and Pete. Wirral

Bridgefoot House is a lovely place with lots of history to it. It is ideally situated for a relaxing break in Thornton or a central position for walks into Dalby Forest or indeed driving to the lovely north Yorks moors and nearby coast. There is parking for guests all be it a little tight for larger cars. The B &... More

This is a delightful place to stay if you are visiting the magnificent North Yorkshire moors national park. The welcome from our hosts was warm and epitomised that famous Yorkshire hospitality. The building is historic and quaint but this did not at all compromise its comfort and we were very happy with our room. If internet connection is important then... More

Extremely friendly (sincerely so) - Proprietors are keen to ensure you have all you need. They will help you with any tourist / sight-seeing plans. Rooms are clean and sufficiently well appointed. And when it comes to breakfast - forget lunch. Largest, tastiest breakfast ever!

Lovely guest house run by an extremely friendly couple. Our room was on the small side but was spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed... the two most important things in my book. Breakfast was lovely, well cooked, good quality ingredients. However, being asked what we wanted for breakfast the next day, (and exactly what time!) just minutes after... More

A lovely, homely, welcoming bed and breakfast in what has got to be one of the most beautiful villages in England. The room (family suite) was a spacious, comfortable room with plenty of space to blob out after a good walk, meal or tipple. The breakfasts were delicious, and Ron and Lindsey were the most friendly, affable and delightful hosts.... More

First time away in 3 years after a serious illness, so I was quite apprehensive about how it would go. Our 3 night stay was a most enjoyable experience. The 17th C. building is in first-class condition and our room and dining room were both spotless. If desired, a full "Yorkshire" breakfast is available, which is perfectly cooked, and cheerfully...
