+ Beautiful looking olde-worldly building; + Very spacious rooms; + Excellent ensuite facility; + Very clean; + Great breakfast options; + Lovely dining room; + Excellent location for Dalby Forest mountain biking. - Carpet in the ensuite; - Currently under renovation so will be nice to see what is improved!

My friend and I stayed here on Saturday night after a tiring day of surfing and coasteering. We received such a warm welcome that we instantly relaxed and felt at home. Great weekend, Thornton le dale is a lovely place. Comfortable rooms, clean and well equipped. Great hosts. Ron and Lydnsay were very welcoming and a wonderful breakfast too. Especially the sausages. Will be returning.

We stayed 2 nights at this lovely guesthouse. The owners are genial hosts,providing comfortable well equipped rooms and a hearty breakfast. The village is very pretty, with good eating places......but you need to book well in advance. Great walks and activities in the nearby Dalby forest. brilliant weekend couldn't fault room was huge, bed was huge an sooooo comfy, breakfast was lovely even made me porridge to help me out. Ron and Lyndsey are absolutely lovely . We stayed here for two nights. The owners are very friendly ,welcoming and informative. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. We have recently returned from our first stay at this lovely guesthouse and received a warm and friendly welcome from the owners.
