Recommended by the owner of the campsite we were staying at and glad they did. Arrived before 5.30 food start therefore had a few pints and a look at the menu. The kids meals were a good size and well priced, especially considering the huge pudding for afters! The black and blue burger I had was the best I have...

our room was nice and the staff once again were so friendly and we were made so welcome. Breakfast each day was excellent and we had double yoke eggs each morning. We had an evening meal on Tuesday night we was very nice and my meat pie was cooked to perfection with the meat melting your mouth

Very atmospheric little dining room with a twist On old favourites. Steak and Ale pie washed down with Southford Cider was delicious. Hunters chicken, Scampi were also very nice. Family friendly! Something on the menu for everyone.

Called in after a day out. We were welcomed by the friendly staff. Just had main courses which were extremely tasty and great portion sizes. We had the special burger and pie and our son enjoyed a choice of many from the kids menu. We will certainly go back when we are out this way!

I have visited this pub whilst away motor homing for a few years now and have eaten there several times. Staff always cheerful and polite, food always first class and a good selection, and dog friendly.

The food was very good but the portions were too big. We all had starters and by the time we had finished them we were full and couldn't really enjoy the main course. Downside was that there were small kids running around and they could have caused an accident. Not the pubs fault more the parents for letting them

Food was good, we had the fish & chips and the burger, both meals were good, the burger was a little over-cooked to be honest but the chips were superb !!! Pub...
