The hotel is rustic but the experience was great. The Management is very accommodating and hospitable. The staff interacts with guests politely like Nanay Lagring who has been with the hotel for 22 years. Food is excellent too - we even praised the Chef. This place is awesome for diving and snorkeling. Don't expect a shore though. It has cottages... More

We decided impromptu on May 1 morning and since we did not have a car yet, decided to commute. Wow what an experience it was, went to Cubao and got on to bus towards Pier. Then hopped onto a Jeepney to Mabini. Since we did not have booking, had to look around and finally freezed on Vistamar. Place was basic... More

We came to Anilao via public transport (bus) and this is the first resort we checked. It has a good size room, clean but could modernised a little bit. No hot water. Wifi only at the restaurant. No beach as only stones and concrete, but can still go for a swim. Big swimming pool. As it was off peak season,... More

was there last weekend....took only about 2-2.5 hrs travel time through star toll. beach front so it was convenient. had my kids with me, and they enjoyed the banana boat ride and snorkeling. (they snorkeling gear for rent) also took a short boat ride to a nearby sanctuary for fish feeding. kids loved it!!! good food, simple accomodation.

We drove to Vistamar to look at it and decided to stay for a few hours. We paid to eat in the restaurant and use the beach. We were three adults and a child. The total for the day was 1500 PHP which included an excellent lunch, use of the beach and food. The food was very good and service... More

We spent a vacation last may of 2010 to escape the summer heat from the city, the place was fine though the shore line have no sand at all like any other beaches, in short it was glorious weekend for us if we haven't experienced the rudest treatment from the management. First of, we had our pet with us during... More

I wanted to take my family for snorkeling and possible diving during the short Holy Week break. SInce Anilao Batangas boasts of the many scenic diving sites, I opted to consider VistaMar, a reasonably priced resort with the diving amenities. However, the reviews almost made me changed my mind... but decided to make it a try when I was assured... More

Went there last May 2009, and to tell you the truth, I would not recommend it to anyone even my worst enemy. First off there is no service to talk about since at check in except for someone accompanying you to your rooms, there is no assistance whatsoever. Our first room we took the deluxe room with "air conditioning" and... More
