We stayed here for 3 nights in a Lake View Lodge. The lodge had 2 rooms and 1.5 baths which was perfect for our family of 3. The lodge had a wonderful view of the lake with a great hammock on its deck to relax in. Our stay here was our son's favorite of our trip. The room very clean,...

My boyfriend and I stayed at a rainforest casita at La Lancha during a visit to Tikal. Peten does not really have many good accommodation options and on this basis La Lancha really stands out as a tropical oasis so we booked there. If I had to rate the state of the property alone, I'd probably say it's quite ok....

We spent two nights at La Lancha as part of a Backroads family tour and we were loathe to leave this magical place. The lake is crystal clear, the rooms are beautifully appointed, the service is attentive and gracious, and the food is simple, but delicious. Ask for tea and coffee on your deck in the morning--you will not be...

We have been wanting to visit Tikal for some time...so about 3 months ago we made a call directly to Coppola website to set a trip to La Lancha, Blanceneaux and Turtle Inn. We had already stayed at Blanceneaux 13 years ago...(loved, loved, loved) and had driven past Turtle Innn while sailing in Placencia. So...our trip started in La Lancha...

Nice boutique hotel! Greeting: We were greeted with a yummy welcome drink and cold towels. We were taken to our room and told we could handle the paperwork at dinner which was nice because we had just been on the Tikal tour and were tired. Rooms: The rooms are beautiful, beds comfortable and very clean. We stayed in Rainforest room...

Our travel agent recommended this small boutique hotel as a base for our visit to Tikal. It was lovely! The rooms are smallish but charming. Each double "cabin" has a deck with hammocks and chairs looking down on the lake. Meals are served at the top of the property on a large patio--and at dinner you are surrounded by candle...

This is a luxury retreat with great views over Lake Petan, well-appointed individual cabins and a good restaurant. However, and this is a big 'but', on arrival we were forced to sign an extraordinary legal waiver that absolved the resort of all responsibility for any damage or injury however caused, including by the negligence or failure of the resort. I...

Excennt facilities amazing rooms with pool, good food and friendly service. However the wine ix extremely expensive ar twelve dollars a glass . Quite out of reach for the average traveller. Internet access is poor but this seemed tomake it more peaceful.u

Extraordinary location . Rooms are small but largely compensated by common areas . A simply beautiful deck on the lake . A mirador arranged in a very nice way . A very pleasant bar on top of the dining terrace. So , a perfect place in a country where beautiful hotels are not really common . But. But the food...

We had a great experience at La Lancha. The views from the dock on the lake and the staff cannot be beaten. We even were fortunate to meet Mr Coppolla on our stay there which was unforgettable and probably a once in a lifetime event. Anna Lucia, Frank and Tony were exceptional and always went out of their way to...
