Used this hotel as a one night stop over on way back through Germany. Lovely location in the hills just out of town in the wine region of the Rhine, the hotel has clean, bright rooms with very helpful and friendly staff. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and both the local wine recommended by the waiter and... More

This is a charming little hotel next to the Rhein. It is not right inside the small villages, so better when you have a car. The rooms are clean, well decorated, everything renovated in an old house. The breakfast is very good and they have a restaurant for dinner (plan yourself, because it closes at 9PM)! I want to recognize... More

We had a large family gathering at this hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a large extra room for our meals with great views on the vineyards. Undoubtedly the highlight was that all of us together cooked our dinner, under expertly and patient guidance of the chefs (two brothers and their staff). This was so much fun for... More

This family-run hotel and restaurant is so good, we changed our trip itinerary to stay an extra night! Everything was great -- honestly! That isn't an exaggeration. All the people we met there were friendly, welcoming, hospitable, kind, helpful and courteous. They took care of our every need or want. They even provided us free trips to the train station... The hotel is a bit older. But is just gorgeous. Up the hill from the Rhine river. A vineyard is just outside the window. This is how I enjoy traveling. A little family run hotel. The owner was there when we arrived, the 3 rooms were ready. The rooms are a bit older, there is no a/c or elevator. Minimum... More

The hotel was comfortable, clean and the staff helpful. Close to historic sites and beautiful little villages and IN THE HEART OF WINE COUNTRY. Close enough to Kolbenz for a day trip and not too far from other cities, if that's what's of interest. We stayed away from the bigger cities, enjoying small villages with old, old architecture. Lovely scenery... More

I have stayed here in July, 2014 with my wife and baby daughter. The hotel is quite small and is located on a hill where they grow drapes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They placed a baby cot free of charge in our room. The room itself was clean and very nice. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff... More

Located in a very small wine village, perfect to relax and discover this fantastic region. We stayed in a suite for two nights with our two little children and everything was perfect: beds, decoration, cleanliness, food and service. Dinner was included in the package and it was really worthwhile, delicious!! Although you dont have views on the river, it is... More

This is a very nice hotel in a pleasant if sleepy little wine village. The rooms were spacious and the food was top class - both breakfast and dinner. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. We had our dinner paid for as part of a package and were disappointed that we had to eat it at about 6pm. This... More

We have stayed at the hotel or the attached ferienwohnung many times since 2001, and Fred and his family always keep things perfect. Quiet setting where you can walk to the Rhein valley to catch a train to Bingen (and then on to the cruises) - food is always fantastic. We stayed there as a couple, with family, and with... More
