We came to this region to walk a section of the Eiffel Steige, and stayed in of the apartments that the hotel offers. Our 1-room apartment was very functional and spacious, and was equipped with a kitchen and a fridge. The shower was extremely powerful and therefore great after a long walk in the lovely Eifel/High Fens area. We visited... More

We booked here to visit Monschau Christmas Markets (Magical to visit at night). We initially thought it would be good to walk to the markets when looking on google maps but once dark realised it was a journey best done by car. The Hotel has ample parking out the front and has a large restaurant complex of which the guest... More

We have used Zum Stehling every year since 2010 as our guesthouse of choice for the F1 at Spa; each visit we are allocated our favourite room and greeted warmly as friends by Marc and Eva. Situated in the Eifel National Park, the hotel is surrounded by some stunning scenery including the "chocolate box" town of Monschau with its half... More

We have enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable, clean and familyfriendly hotel. The staff is wonderfull, the food at their restaurant very good...the big surprise was there extensive breakfast. The only thing this places deserves more is some decoration and atmosphere...then it would be perfect.

We stayed in this hotel during our visit of Monschau. Honestly, great value for money. If you travel by car, only 10 minuts from the Monschau winter fairy tale village. We got a duplex appartment for 4 people, offered under name family suite. Good comfort, one bathroom. Warm enough even if -10 outside. the brekfast was excellent, the staff made... More

We stayed in the 'outpost' of Hotel Zum Stehling, a so-called Ferienwohnung in a detached house seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Or rather, inbetween a field with grazing cattle and another one with horses. It seems that the building could feature 2 separate vacation homes, each on a different floor, but when we were there just ours for max... More

I stayed at Zum Stehling for three nights from April 20-23, 2012. I chose Mutzenich due to its close proximity to the Hurtgen Forest and the norther portion of the Bulge area. The hotel was fantastic, with large, clean rooms. The breakfast, which is served in a small dining room separate from the restaurant, was the best I've ever had,... More

This hotel is about a 40 minute drive from the Spa circuit in Belgium. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The lady at reception spoke English and the bar staff understood a little English too. The lady who serves the buffet breakfast was also very helpful and understood a little English.
