Not a bad hotel, we booked for 9 rooms ($10 per room) and I'm pretty sure we were the only ones in the hotel! Air con in all rooms was really good, ended up waking up shivering! Showers smelt a bit 'funky' and the light and toilet didnt work in 1 room. Not a bad place to stay when passing...

Do not listen to the few bad reviews about this hotel /guesthouse. Those people must have been having a bad day. This guesthouse is ridiculously nice, great rooms, looks gorgeous, the staff is among the most amazing people I've ever come across and of course the price, 6$ for my super nice room! With hot shower! A/c! It can't be...

It seems like you arrive in a colonial hotel. Very beautiful and so different from many other budgetplaces. It's very nice situated at the lake. The buildingwork is just some small things left, so no noices. Warm till hot water and you even get bottles of water ervery day. The staff is very frinedly and willing to help you. Although...

If you like big spider, rotten walls, communication problems and disgusting sheets, this place is for you. Don't belive the lonely planet, there's corruption everywhere. Thanks to the only thing working in this hostel ; the wii-fii so I can write this review.

It seems to me, that everything depends on room. I stayed at good one, with two windows and a big bed and paid only $10. There was a problem with a shower, but it was fixed the next day. The man on reception can organize trekking. There is a restaurant next to the hotel with Khmer and European food.

We had a wonderful time at the restaurant just beside the hotel, which is a separate business. The staff there was very warm and welcoming. The hotel on the other hand hadn't English speaking staff, was totally uninterested helping us with anything and messed up our booking with the bus.

First of all: Staff is super-friendly and very helpful. They were pretty much booked up when we arrived (as every other place in Banlung), so they offered us a bungalow, which they probably don't rent out very often. Bungalow itself was quite dirty and worn and there was a huge construction site right in front of our door. That's why...
