Tugged away in the beautiful, secluded Dernbach Tal this family-run hotel provide impeccably clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with a kitchenette (range, refrigerator), good size bathroom in an scenic environment. The nights are dark and absolutely quiet. The hotel and rooms are designed in a quasi-Bavarian style, the impression is cute. The breakfast buffet is very good, the reception is... More

We spent one night at the Hotel Dernbachtal in July. This family-run hotel is beautifully kept up and has unexpected amenities, such as the large suite-like rooms and the in-room kitchen facilities. The rooms are unusually well stocked with supplies (toiletries, extra blanket, etc.) for a reasonably priced hotel, and the location is peaceful and scenic. The breakfast buffet was... More

I booked this hotel on the last minute due to my business travel arrangements being changed and what a pleasant surprise I got. First of all, the surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and it is very serene. The hotel is fairly small, which means you get a personal service and the owner couldn't have been more attentive and helpful.... More

I'm writing this while staying at the hotel Dernbachtal which has been a delightful experience. This small 12 room hotel is beautifully appointed and was recently refurbished with German wood features throughout to an extremely high standard. The rooms are large and the superior room we have stayed in has a kitchenette, outside terrace and a seating area with table,... More

This is a charming hotel. The rooms are lovely and are very large with sitting areas and outside decks or patios (ground floor rooms). The bathrooms are small, but have a reasonable size shower and some shelf space. The gardens seemed pretty from the photos but we were there just at the end of the season. Basically it is sort...
