I went to Ocean View Excilusive Vacation Rent to celebrate the 70th birthday of a dear friend. Love the garden setting and the idyllic atmosphere. The poolside setting and the lights on the surrounding hillsides added to the ambience. The small common dining area is in need of a makeover. A few matching chairs and tables, new pictures on the walls and more upbeat decor could make it a more attractive venue. There needs to be a parking area to accommodate clients and therefore alleviate parking woes.
very outdated.... no security ... promised service never recieved...Has potiental to be better ... Bathroom toliet doesnt work ... beds doesnt have fitted sheets... micorowave doesnt work ...nothing exclusive about this place
Hello , We totally agree with last comment leaved on Jan 2013. It seems a completely different place by past. We never looked for a luxury place for our holidays but almost basilary things like cutlery, room cleaned and pool cleaned should be guarantee and never forgotten. Our cottage had toilet that didn't work, cutlery was not enaugh for 3 people, cleaning of bathroom , kitchen , and pool...it's better forget it. So, we decided to change our location reaching an agreement with management to return back a part of money already payed. Results ?? NO REFOUND FROM THEM YET !!! Be aware from this place !
Where to begin? We only had one night booked here as we were on a stopover on the way to the Dominican Republic. Having read the previous reviews we were happy....how I wish we hadn't! It's either gone downhill dramatically since the previous reviews or we stayed in a totally different place! After a long flight from London, England, we were looking forward to a relaxing evening in the restaurant and a nice cold drink. After checking in I asked about booking for dinner only to be told the restaurant was closed as the chef had walked out. The bar was also closed. There is absolutely nothing within walking distance so we were stuck. Finally after a bit of persuasion they offered to pay for a taxi to take us to a takeaway and to get drinks (The fridge in reception was empty, not even water). The accomodation...very pretty from the outside, very dated and musty smelling on the inside! The air conditioning made a lot of noise and did very little else, and most of the windows didn't lock. Spent most of the night awake worrying about security! The toilet broke, and in the morning we had no water and no power for a few hours. The manager came to make breakfast for us in the morning, for which we were grateful. However, $8 each for a cup of tea and a slice of toast seemed a little excessive! Next time we'll gladly pay double to go somewhere better. I'm sure if a bit of money can be spent on doing it up it would be lovely, but until then I personally would avoid.…
I stayed in the 3-bedroom Jasmine cottage for one month while completing an elective placement in Antigua with a local Dr. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and loved the friendly staff (especially Lori and Eugene) that played a great role in enhancing my Antigua experience. The property is lovely and quiet and I enjoyed using the pool at my leisure. The central location in Freeman's village was a perfect starting point for all of my excursions on the island. In addition Laverne did a great job in keeping our cottage nice and clean even though we always dragged in the sand from the lovely beaches. Saving to come back asap!
