My wife and I needed a place to stay the night for the final leg of our walk of the Fife coastal path from Newport to Newburgh. I feared this B&B might be shut because the last review was from 2011. However my wife phoned and Lynda took our booking. It turned out they had been shut for a while...

Stayed over two nights for the Leuchars airshow,we were greeted like old friends when we met and were treated like friends throughout the stay. Linda and Rod are superb hosts the house is spotless and the rooms are spacious and comortable. They go out of their way to make sure you have everthing you need, and nothing is too much...

Lovely room and good quality hottub. We enjoyed using the hotub and felt that Rod and Lindas advice on length of time recommended in the hottub was fine. From their point of view, they have to ensure the safety of their guests and maintain the quality of the hottub, and we were only too pleased to abide by their instructions....

Oakbank is immaculate, and is full of extra touches like sky TV, DVDs, Razors chocolates and robes to name but a few. The couple who run the B&B couldnt be nicer or more helpful and rooms are much larger and more modern than the pictures give credit. The beds are so comfy its hard to get out in the morning....

Visited Oakbank with my sister, brother-in-law and 1 year old nephew at the weekend. This is the third time we have stayed with Linda and Rod and, as ever, we had a lovely restful time in their excellent value bed & breakfast near Newport on Tay, a stone's throw from St Andrews. The facilities are great and they offer two...

Beautiful home, and lovely stay. Such a relaxing couple of days, the room was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. The view from the breakfast room was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, my baby girl loved running in the garden. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Will be back again. Thank you Rod and Linda for a lovely...

Hey all, I came across this B&B whilst searching for some other trips and remembered I'd stayed here earlier. It was a really comfortable stay, very hospitable people and a good location. I traveled around for a few days, and it was really nice to have such a comfortable place to crash. Thanks for the Netherlands. Emile

I stayed at Oakbank for 2 nights and I can simply say it was like I was a long lost member of the family invited round for a catch up. The house is immaculate and the bathroom sumptuous. However, the warmth of the welcome would outshine even a 7* hotel.

I stayed at Oakbank in May this year, the hot tub out on the decking overlooking the Fife countryside is amasing, even when its raining heavily! In between St.Andrews for a few rouds of golf and Dundee where I had work so location was handy. No shops nearby but Rod and Linda are great hosts and Rod even helped me...

Spent two nights with my girlfriend at Oakbank. It's a lovely setting, very reasonably priced and Linda couldn't do more to assist us. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay. The real selling point for us was the house is close enough to Dundee and St. Andrews for a trip out for a meal and secluded...
