Our room was clean for the most part albeit quite a bit outdated. The bathroom was less than adequate with paint peeling and kind of nasty tile grout. The air conditioning was too small for the room, but an odd table fan mounted on the ceiling helped cool the room. Had a pretty good bowl of pho noodle soup for breakfast.
Bit of a fancy hotel with the furnishings and stairwell. But do not fear there is an elevator. Staff are friendly and helpful. My room was at the rear so no noise from the main street. Clean, compact room with comfortable bedding made for a good night's sleep. Internally, any noise will echo, particularly when you have inconsiderate people staying here. Breakfast was limited but I was able to order something to get me by. I walked to Tim restaurant at 222 Nugent Yen, about 10 minutes. Young owner speaks good English and has a menu full of authentic VN dishes. Do note though seating is low wooden stools. Highly recommend. Overall, I'm not aware of any better hotel for value than Hong Ngoc.
Stayed here to visit tuy hoa for first time. Was upgraded to a VIP room. Its large but it is a bit noisy considering it is facing the main road. Overall, it is a basic hotel which is clean. Breakfast is so so. Do not expect too much considering the price you are paying. In any case, there is not many good choice in this town.
The Hotel offered us a room with 2 distinct beds for 2 nights with 400.000 VNĐ/2 nights/person. The room was really clean and convieneces. I have to say we definitely satified all hotel services. Especially, We were served 2 free breakfasts with amazing cups of coffee. Although it took us about 10 minutes to walk to the beach, we could find out many cheap food vendors near the hotel. I love to stay there again when i have another chances to visit Phú Yên.
Extended our stay because of the comfortable conditions. Staff were very helpful and one person spoke very good English, which was very helpful in this city. Bedding was of a high standard and the room (VIP) was exceptionally clean. Any issues were promptly attended to.
The room was very clean and the staff friendly. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The location was well suited for seeing the older parts of Hanoi, which I liked. One drw back was the size of the room, felt just a wee bit compacted, but other than that it was a nice stay at this hotel.
The room here is compact but clean and new. The only problem is the ants, but they don't bite and as long as there is no food or drink left out they keep mostly to themselves. The service is good. Went down to breakfast (complimentary) and came back to a freshly cleaned room. Good internet connection!
