We stopped in for lunch as it's quite convenient; easy access and good parking facilities. We all took the standard lunch menu which offers a couple of choices for the first 2 courses. The basic lunch menu is €19 There's no house wine except by the glass for €5, but there's an adequate range of bottled wines starting around €24... More

The restaurant at La Bergerie is within walking distance of our holiday home in the Lot. How lucky we are. We usually choose from the menu at about 33 euros which offers a choice of about three dishes per course and the meal is always enjoyable. Not only is the food (and wine) very good, but, the proprietors, Angélique and... More

We stayed for one night during a very hot July and were very glad of the efficient and quiet air conditioning ! Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable . The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed an excellent dinner. Our only quibble was that the charming swimming pool was very cold indeed!

We stayed for three nights in a comfortable but basic room. All the rooms were on the ground floor grouped in a semi circle with a table and two garden chairs outside the door to the garden. We had one meal in the restaurant which was busy but well looked after by the young chef and his wife. I ventured... More

Super cooking, friendly staff und big bedrooms made us really happy. Especially the swimming pool inside the hills around Cahors were giving us a wunderful picture. In and around Cahors you will find the real "savoir vivre" of french people. Booking with "logis de France" works easily.

Driving from Paris to the south coast we pulled into this unassuming hotel to stay overnight. The staff were very helpful, the room spacious, a little tired but adequate and what a view! The biggest surprise was the meal. We had no expectations but what we ate I would put in my 'top 10' and I have eaten out a... More

We had the 49 euro menu. Rubber goose liver, old salad, a cold piece of chicken, the souffle was served with the cheese by the cook himself because he was afraid it would sink. Personnel gets around in panic, does not know what to do. The white wine was warm, the pepper mill empty. Uninspired cuisine, enormously overprized, disrespect for... More

what a disappointment. The hotel garden has lfar reaching views from the garden which slopes down to a swimming pool. That's the good part. The bedroom was spacious and well equipped but the bathroom smelled strongly of mould and was unpleasant. The outside dining area is next to a quite busy road and poorly lit by fluorescent lights. And quite... More
