Detailed Reviews
My stay here has been amazing!! From the moment I walked in, the staff have been incredibly kind and helpful. They provided coffee while I waited for my room to be ready. My room is gorgeous with a beautiful view and comfortable bed. Squeaky clean, too! Breakfast was delicious and made to order. It’s a quick walk to town and staff is happy to help with any and everything. The cleaning team are doing a great job with the COVID needs and went above and beyond while cleaning my room (they folded my clothes I’d laid out and put them in the armoire, even my socks!). Also, small but important: the hair dryers are new and actually work - no crappy 90s wall dryer that barely works! The hotel is great on its own but the view takes it to another level! Worth every penny!!

Full marks for two things:
a) Absolutely, ridiculously gorgeous views from the breakfast area, in the backdrop of lush green landscape and the valley/mountains.
b) Scrumptious breakfast each day with lots of variety to start the day with a great note.
Unfortunately my room location was not good. It was noisy till late at night. And, it is in such a place that everything is visible from outside. Who ever is passing by can see inside. No privacy at all. They definitely need to have some curtains or something there. Secondly, there has to be a common place in the facility, where they need to keep a coffee pot or kiosk or something, for a quick coffee, and a drinking water place. Else, the price doesn't justify for the great views only, as there are other facilities available in the area with great price for sure.
Carefully select your room while booking, if that option is available. I got screwed big time. And, I did contact hotel for the room with views. But the response was abysmally poor to start with. Outright rejected by staff. That definitely put a bad taste even when the journey was not started. I immediately thought of cancelling, but even that option was not there at booking site unfortunately.

+1
We stayed three nights at the Hotel El Mirador del Cocora. The hotel itself was just lovely which wonderful views of the valley from our room and from the patios used for eating breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was very good. You were able to get made to order omelets in addition to waffles, fruits, cheeses and breads. The staff was pleasant but not overly friendly. The hotel is uphill from the main town so be prepared to climb!

The hotel was great. Perfect price-quality. The view is absolutely stunning from the terrace where you have breakfast as well as from the room. The breakfast is all you need. They make all kinds of eggs for you, fresh fruits and juices, and something sweet.

Clean hotel and helpfull welcoming staff, but the louver in the bathroom were broken.
When you know that the temperatures in Salento drop to 10°C at night and that the the room has no heating, we were very cold because of this wide-open window.
The breakfast (served late, outside, even when it rains) also need to be inproved and does not match european tastes: no pastries, only bread which we had to wait for a very long time, so that we were forced to fetch cakes that we had brought with us to the room.
To point out the butler completely useless who comes with great fanfare to ask you for your choices for breakfast and then forgets about you for good.
On the 2e morning, we ate breakfast for a tiny price with the woman cooking at the little bus terminal, wihch was a very pleasant time and much more friendly.

This hotel exceeded our expectations, it is better than what is shown in the pictures.
The hotel is located very close from the Salento viewpoint. During morning you can see different kinds of birds meanwhile you take your breakfast at the balcony of your room.
The room is very clean whit a comfortable king size bead. In our case we choose a room with jacuzzi and really it was a great experience.
Juan, the host at our arrival, was very kind person

I booked through booking.com for 3 nights in a King room with Mountain View arriving 9th June 2023. After a 5 hour transfer we were shown our room with picture windows overlooking the valley and mountain AND the building site of the hotels extension with workman able to look straight into our room. The manager obviously understood and helped us move elsewhere however they had no explanation why the works were not mentioned on booking.com, their own website as well as other sites that market this hotel. I gave them a week to make the updates and now nearly a month later none have been made. Therefore be aware of what you’re booking. I would suggest you email the hotel about the works and then make an informed decision

A beautiful view and a peaceful experience. I stayed in a junior suite with the jacuzzi. The room had gorgeous views. The place is very quiet! The breakfast was delicious but a little slow; they start breakfast at 7:00am so if you don’t want to wait one hour go around 8:00! One can visit Cocora Valley by taking the jeep for about 20 minutes: avoid weekends if you don’t like crowds!

Great view, and great service. Everyone from the people at the restaurant to the receptionist were very attentive to every detail, even letting us store our luggage after checking out so we could go to a finca without carrying all our stuff on the willy. Overall great experience. Breakfast was delicious too!

We stayed there 3 nights, there was no standard room available so we got an upgrade to the Balcony Room 205 which has a jacuzzi - happy days! The views on the valleys are incredible, out of this world, and we could see them from our bed in the morning - MADNESS!
Breakfast is served on a terrace with also the views on the mountains, what an atmosphere! Delicious breakfast, variety in the cooked breakfast also, staff is wonderfully nice and welcoming, rooms are spacious, even the shower has a view on the valleys (!). There is a restaurant at the end of the street if you are lazy to go out to town (which is not far anyway) for dinner (which happened to us when we arrived: late & tired by a long journey).
Wonderful place to stay, fairytale kind of place!
We will be glad to stay there again on our next visit!

Sorry, can't remember exactly, but it certainly isn't expensive.
Around $185,000 pesos one way from the hotel to the airport.
There is one but inside the living room. You have to ask the hotel if its working though.
It's a few blocks from the town square, and it is very safe to walk at night. The only downside is that the walk back is seriously uphill, but to get a great view, you have to go up! :) I loved this place, I found it to be very clean with excellent service.
