We booked the Junior Suite with mountain view and the view was truly amazing! Even better than the town’s mirador. Breakfast was amazing too- a hearty course of typical calentado (rice with beans) with a choice of eggs, arepas, fruit & coffee or hot chocolate. Really amazing!
Great view, and great service. Everyone from the people at the restaurant to the receptionist were very attentive to every detail, even letting us store our luggage after checking out so we could go to a finca without carrying all our stuff on the willy. Overall great experience. Breakfast was delicious too!
This hotel exceeded our expectations, it is better than what is shown in the pictures. The hotel is located very close from the Salento viewpoint. During morning you can see different kinds of birds meanwhile you take your breakfast at the balcony of your room. The room is very clean whit a comfortable king size bead. In our case we choose a room with jacuzzi and really it was a great experience. Juan, the host at our arrival, was very kind person
Just perfect this: a jacuzzi, parrots flying, nice temperature and a view with beautiful green hills. Isn’t this relaxing? The room itself (with the outdoor jacuzzi) was large, nice bed. Breakfast was good, although it is served from 7:30. So if you have an early tour you will miss it. The room was clean. Location was good. In 10 minutes you are in the street with Al the restaurants and at the bus station.
100% recommended. We stayed for a few nights and everything was perfect, excellent crew, delicious breakfast, quiet place, room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We’ll definitely pick this place to stay again. Claudia & Tony
The hotel has an amazing view! We book one room with mountain view (bosque de niebla) and it was the best decision … to wake up and to see the mist, the mountains, the clouds and the sun was breathtaking. The restaurant also has a lovely view.. and the hamacas were perfect! The breakfast was ok and the hotel is only 10 min away from the main square (walking). The staff was very friendly, our room door’s needs to get repair but we did feedback the hotel.
I have read other negative reviews of this hotel and I am happy to report that I had no issues on my stay. We had a rear facing view with a King bed on the 2nd floor. We had a true king bed! Yes, most beds are firm in Colombia if you did not know that. The views were great. Breakfast was fantastic. There was staff that spoke English and in times if they did not they were patient and tried their best. The TV worked well and wifi was decent. Plenty of hot water and good toiletries. Our room had plenty of space (closet/shelves, extra seating). Just makes sure you bring down the shades when you are wanting privacy because there are big beautiful windows for the view. There were plenty of blankets if it got cooler. The hotel was extremely responsive to all of our pre-trip questions. They also helped arrange some special/private transfers so we could be picked up at the hotel and visit towns along the way to maximize our time.…
Clean hotel and helpfull welcoming staff, but the louver in the bathroom were broken. When you know that the temperatures in Salento drop to 10°C at night and that the the room has no heating, we were very cold because of this wide-open window. The breakfast (served late, outside, even when it rains) also need to be inproved and does not match european tastes: no pastries, only bread which we had to wait for a very long time, so that we were forced to fetch cakes that we had brought with us to the room. To point out the butler completely useless who comes with great fanfare to ask you for your choices for breakfast and then forgets about you for good. On the 2e morning, we ate breakfast for a tiny price with the woman cooking at the little bus terminal, wihch was a very pleasant time and much more friendly.…
awful experience on this place. really bad customer experience provided. they take advantage of the booking if you are not careful, all rooms are total cost to cancel so if you have problems with your arrival you will lose your money.
A beautiful view and a peaceful experience. I stayed in a junior suite with the jacuzzi. The room had gorgeous views. The place is very quiet! The breakfast was delicious but a little slow; they start breakfast at 7:00am so if you don’t want to wait one hour go around 8:00! One can visit Cocora Valley by taking the jeep for about 20 minutes: avoid weekends if you don’t like crowds!
