This place is more like a boutique hotel than it is a hostel. We booked the private room with private fireplace and loved it. The staff was incredible and the farm that the hostel is situated on was fantastic. We've been travelling full time since 2008 and stayed in literally hundreds of hostels. This one is at the top of... More

We stayed in two of the "Glamping" tents because there was a mix-up with my reservation so we had to change tents the second night. The ambience is very relaxing and the views are lovely. The included breakfast is bread with eggs, fruit and coffee, but I preferred the granola with fruit breakfast both times, which is extra. We didn't... More

This very beautiful and peaceful place a little bit out of town is perfect for relaxing. The staff is very kind and helpful and the food is delicious. I also met so many nice people and stayed way longer than I thought. So, if you go to Salento you have to go there. I'm sure, you won't regret it!!

Relaxed vibes, cool folks staying there, and the walk to and from town is just lovely. I highly recommend doing the walk at sunrise at least once, maybe on your way to Cocora. Also -- if you are going to do Cocora, make sure you get a better map than the one in the lobby or receive thorough directions before... More

We didn't know that we booked a tent for two nights. After the first night we really enjoyed the quiete atmosphere and the fantastic view from our little balcony, so that we even stayed one night longer as planned. The breakfast was very good and fresh and the whole area is very beautiful and relaxing. The shared bathrooms were always... More

During my 2 weeks in Colombia this was my favourite place! We stayed in one of the tents which had breathtakingly beautiful views. The sunset was amazing. The food at the place was outstanding. They do these unique family style dinners that were incredible. The staff is extremely helpful and helped planning our hikes and coffee tours. This was a... More

Great hostel, bonfires every night, nice breakfast, very helpful staff, comfortable beds, lovely walk to Salento town with amazing views! Good for families with children, huge outdoor space if you want to do some yoga, sunbathe, or just chill on the grass with some friends or a book.

We stayed in the canvas wall tents - able to enjoy the starry nights. Standard, made to order breakfast in morning was great (and a bonus). Dinner is only available on weeknights, require at least ten individuals to sign up. Community WiiFi was particularly slow. The one mile walk from town was on a dirt road - easily manageable, remember... More

Great location, very friendly staff, beautiful hostel. Make sure you book early to be sure it isn't booked up. Family style dinner at night is good value for 2 courses and a drink and tasty. The free breakfast is filling for a day of hiking, biking or horse riding around Salento and the optional extras are very reasonable. The hostel... More

Loved this hostel. Very clean rooms & lobby. Bathrooms could use some work. Slept in 3 different rooms. Some beds were hard as a rock. Others were quite nice. Breakfast was amazing and super filling. Staff were friendly but knowledge of basic Spanish is necessary. About a 20 min walk from town but it's beautiful. Place to do laundry, lots... More
