Having visited this area many times, it is a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Set amongst beautiful countryside with wide reaching views, and yet a short drive to Aix-en-Provence you will not be short of things to do however the mood takes you. La Feraude is a special place, it's faded elegance will transport you to another era, whilst... More

Having stayed at this charming little hotel many times prior to moving to live in France, we used the opportunity of a visit to Aix-en-Provence for an art exhibition to renew our acquaintance – it was as charming as ever as were the owners despite being in the those of preparing for a wedding; their own! It is a place... More

Combining the useful with the pleasurable. Have to be in Aix-en-Provence once every two weeks and planned a business trip in June and normally stay in Pigonnet but all hotels in and around Aix were full. La Feraude, a bastide next to a vineyard close to Aix and the business area Les Milles, had been on my radar some time... More

Very nice family-run country house. The host is charming and makes all to make you feel welcome. The place is essential and rustic but also well appointed, with good wifi. Aome external renovation would improve the looks, but not the substance. We felt home, and a very good breakfast put us in a good mood, The house is sorrounded by... More

We spent 7 nights here....a perfect introduction to Provence. Sandrine and Marc were very gracious and casual hosts who made us feel right at home. Every day was very relaxing. A bit out in the country...surrounded by a small vineyard...very quiet and rustic. Of all of the places we stayed during our trip....this was the most family like. A great... More

We spent a few days at this very welcoming Bastide. The moment we arrived , Sandrine and Marc made us feel at home. We loved their relaxed and generous hospitality. La Feraude is ideally located, amongst vineyards, very quiet and has a very attractive garden with a big swimmingpool, less than 15 minutes away from Aix en Provence. We certainly will... More

I agree with SoreLegs. This is definitely a special opportunity to be immersed within a large extended group of residents made up of family, long-term residents and short-stay travellers. Obviously not for everyone... if you're looking for pristine facilities and fawning service - this is not your kind of place. Sandrine is a wonderful host and a very knowledgeable booster... More

A really warm and friendly welcome! A comfortable stay, great sleep at night. Marseille, Provence, Cote d'azur & Aix - everything is near by, a good central location to base yourself while you explore the area (you will need a car - but then you are in Provence). Great gardens, pool, dinner/breakfast room and outdoor lounge. Access to the kitchen... More

We booked this B&B blindly, at the last minute... What a pleasant surprise. The property is isolated from any noise and the charm is out of a great literary masterpiece. The breakfast is plentiful, with fresh eggs, fruit, and local cheeses. The owners, and their family are extremely kind and welcoming, catering to our every need. They seem to attract... More

Everything is harmonious: house, garden, decorating style of the rooms, the family's incredible hospitality. It's a very quiet surrounding, perfect to relax, always open house to join and have a talk or sit together in the evening. 25min to drive to Marseille's old harbour, 15min to drive to center of Aix-en-Provence We will definitvly come back.
