Trully remarkable place full of authentic Georgian spirit. You can feel it especially on your way there - roads are demanding, nevertheless the journey passed quickly. The road is well marked with noticable billboards. Moreover there are plenty of cheap cabs that take you from Tbilisi Isani to the gates of elizbar for 20-25 Dollars. When You get there be ready to start eating... A lot 🙂 Rooms are cozy and luxury at the same time. Classy vintage decor. Also wine tasting and guided tour through the world of making it made our stay very special.

Marani Elizbar 1918 is truly wonderful place run by extraordinary people. Tastefully decorated interiors, a beautiful garden, a terrace overlooking the Caucasus, delicious food, but most of all warm and kind hosts. Around – the peace and quiet of a Georgian village, nearby - picturesque vineyards. Delicious Saperavi made by owners to die :)!!! I recommend it to everyone looking for relaxation and beautiful landscapes, but also Georgian colors and spices! Amazing place to visit with group with friends to taste lokal delicious wine and cuisine. Love it and definietly visit again!

Добрый день путешественники! Пишу отзыв по горячим следам пребывания в Marani Elizbar1918. Отель очень хороший, новый, чистый, стильный (антиквариат, предметы интерьера, небольшой бассейн, территория) - все прекрасно! Но самое главное здесь то, за чем мы все вырываемся из наших пластиково-стеклянно-бетонных городов и едем в прекрасную Грузию. Это люди. И вот здесь, в этом месте, работают одни из самых прекрасных людей на земле. Начну с человека вокруг которого все вращается в этом месте- Нино. Нино, я и Анна, глубоко благодарны вам за ваше чистое, открытое сердце, золотые руки, заботу, кофе по турецки, хинкали, бадриджани, чакапули, аджапсандали, шоти, сулугуни, шашлык и все все все… love forever! В отеле Нино помогают «худой» Нино, Саба (сын Нино, открытый и отзывчивый молодой человек, с глубоким и философским взглядом на жизнь, особенно как для своих 22 лет), Гуджа - зять Нино, управляющий, отличный парень, профессионал своего дела, кроме работы в отеле, делает отличное саперави! Кстати о «Гвино»: кроме удостоенного наград на международных конкурсах органического Саперави, в отеле отличное домашнее Мцванэ и просто невероятное Розе Чкхавери. Ягодное, ароматное, плотное, для прохладный весеров у камина это просто супер-находка. А какой тут камин!!! С красивым порталом, креслами и ковром в ногах. Мы провели у камина несколько невероятных и ценных часов нашей жизни. Также не могу не отметить водителя Мишу. Человек с очень серьёзным, я бы сказал, суровым выражением лица и пронзительным взглядом, но очень открытый, супер честный (представляете, он с женой делает дома сам чурхеллу, но чтобы мы не подумали что он на нас хочет заработать копейку, он отвёл нас на рынок к продавцу:) Миша, а почему ты нам свою не продал? Ну, я не хочу чтоб вы про меня что то подумали»….я такой открытости и почти детской честности не встречал никогда! Миша нам много рассказывал про жизнь обычных людей, про, часто, нелёгкую жизнь местных, но он ни в коем случае ни разу не жаловался, а просто все рассказывал, так как есть. подводя итог: приезжайте в Кахетию, приезжайте в прекрасный Marani Elizbar1918, к Нино, к ее детям и соседям. Вы попадёте в большую грузинскую семью и уезжать будете с грустью и надеждой на возвращение:) Только одна маленькая просьба: не нужно себя вести как типичный «русский турист, первый раз приехавший в Грузию». Это когда надо все, здесь и сейчас: вино, шашлык, бассейн, и хачапури и все это в 11 вечера. Не спешите. Доверьтесь этим прекрасным людям, и они обо всем позаботятся наилучшим образом. The whole experience was incredible. I highly enjoyed my stay for the following reasons: the interior design and all the decorations made a big affect on me, the color combinations were immaculate and everything was put together well. The food was very delicious, khachapuri, mtsvadi, chakapuli and more. The wine itself was very tasty with its different flavors. Outdoors had beautiful greenery with all kinds of plants and trees. Overall, I had a memorable time and highly recommend visiting Marani Elizbar to the others.

It’s a dream place! If you are looking for a place where you can find rest, real Georgian cuisine and wine, home atmosphere - you just found it! 2h drive from Tbilisi, 20 min from Telavi and surrounded by mountains - it’s a perfect location to start exploring Georgia. Hungry? Try Khachapuri made here and you will never leave this place. Terrace with a view on Caucasus mountains, small swimming pool - this is what you need to fully relax. There is no better place to go when you are in Georgia! Trust me!

What a mesmerizing place. Everything in this place was on point. Let's start with the decor. Each room was so put together, and the house common space - just wow! It was the feast for eyes. Speaking of feasts. Food - delicious. Everything sourced from the local ingredients. Couldn't get enough of sweet tomatoes, local Georgian cheese, and homemade preserves. And let's not forget about the wine. Very nice selection of local wines as well as astonishing house’s Saeravi! One of our favorite ones was rose - you definitely should try it, especially chilled, while sunbathing and lounging on a rooftop terrace. Last but not least, let's talk about hosts. Couldn't feel more welcomed and comfy. They'll advise you where to go in the Kakheti area and what's worth seeing, and arrange the transport. Just to sum it up - place worth visiting, no matter if you'd like to lay down and do simply nothing, or travel around (we did both). It was my first time in Georgia, hopefully, there's more to come, and definitely Marani Elizbar will be on my list again!…

Amazing place in the picturesque Kisiskhevi village. Our room's windows faced Mountain panorama and Kakhetian wine yards. Near the hotel you will find Kisiskhevi river, where you can take a walk. The hotel interiors are very sunny and tastefully decorated by the hosts themselves. David, Olga and their family were hospitable and attentive to our needs. The food was home made and tasty. Most of all we loved home made khinkalis and David's home made Saperavi wine. On top of all that, David invited us to opening of kvevri to test a new born wine, which was a unique experience. We are looking forward to come to this place again.
