Lovely comfortable cottage, had a long weekend here lots of extras gowns slippers soaps etc. Peaceful setting but just a short drive to coast. The pool was a great plus and lots of essentials included, very dog friendly not just dogs allowed. Had a lovely stay and will certainly return soon

A group of 8 of us had a very comfortable and relaxed stay here this September. The cottage had everything we needed, was in a good, quiet location and had plenty of space inside, as well as out. And the owners were so helpful and accomodating.

We booked The Barn for 3 families in late July for 1 week. Rooms were great and kids loved the garden and the table football room. The pool is small and not called a splash pool for nothing. However, kids loved it and seemed to wear them out ! Kitchen gets very hot with the aga on full time, but... More

A family group of ten spent a long weekend in The Barn at Champernhayes for a birthday celebration. The accommodation was immaculate, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. The pool area provided great entertainment for all and the charming, extensive gardens were very well maintained. The complex is ideally situated for visits to Lyme Regis and Charmouth and we would... More

We spent two nights in the lark cottage. Nice size but not enough sofa space for 4 as advertised. Kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack (wine, bread, biscuits and milk) were all welcomed. The two single beds were very uncomfortable and squeaked at every opportunity. The shower in the twin room was awfull like being dribbled on and... More

Having been recommended Champernhayes through a friend, my partner and I decided to go for a weekend break to Dorset to relax and enjoy the beach. Champernhayes is situated looking out at both the sea and a valley and couldn't be more idyllic. We stayed in Blackbird, which can hold up to 6 people. There is a huge open planning... More

This is the first time we have stayed at Champernhayes and certainly won't be our last! We stayed in the Farmhouse, which is a spectacular 15th Century house with all the mod cons you need, with great attention to detail and decor. The owners have struck a good balance between the historic nature of the property with modern facilities and... More

We returned to the barn for a second stay, for a regular family gathering. It is starting to become a second home much to the delight of everyone who stays with us. The Barn manages to have a combination of being airy and light and yet warm and cozy especially at night. The views of the valley are stunning and... More

We stayed here with a 3&4yr old and had a lovely time. The cottage wS quaint but perfect for us, especially as was more of a base. Very nicely set up and well equipped, the welcome gifts are a lovely touch too. The small pool was great to burn off some if the kids energy and if the weather was... More
