We stayed in the 2 bedroom sea view villa for 4 nights over christmas with our two small children and mother-in-law. The room was nice and spacious with direct sea views from both bedrooms. It also features a spacious living area and a lovely terrace with a small plunge pool/jaccuzi and amazing views over the sea. It was also very...

Great location, great accommodation, great staff. I've just spent five days here and would recommend it very highly! There's a wide selection of good quality food and opportunity for a variety of activities as well as chilling out.

After a 6-day safari in mainland Tanzania we decided to go to Zanzibar for a beach holiday. KonoKono combined everything we were looking for: a very special location, spacious villa of impeccable quality, extremely friendly staff (a bit slow at times but what does it matter if you are on holiday and slow yourself). The white-sand beach was fantastic and...

We were unfortunate with some of the mishaps here which may have clouded my judgement of the hotel but I really couldn't say that this is a luxury hotel. Firstly, there was an issue with plumbing and the first 2 nights were spent being unable to use our ensuite because of the stench. (We were in a 2bedroom villa so...

My wife and I visited Zanzibar during our honeymoon and lets just say the 'lime was worth the squeeze'. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and the amazing Pavilion room view. During our stay we were treated like royalty with our every need catered for. I would recommend KonoKono to anyone making the journey to Zanzibar. Special mention...

We spent 7 nights at this sensational paradise location. From the warm welcome on arrival and throughout our stay the staff worked effortlessly to ensure our stay was magical. The location is perfect to relax and switch off completely. The villas are spotless, spacious with the added luxury of a plunge pool and monkeys as neighbours who visit regularly. The...

We didn't have hot water for the first two days and they obviously took a long time to fix it, the first night I called the front desk and nothing happens until I walked to the front desk, the lady at the reception called the general manager to have it fixed, but didn't work the first night, by the second...

We've had a wonderful and relaxing holiday in Konokono. It is a high end hideaway on a paradise like location with very welcoming and friendly staff (VIP-treatment around the clock), a great restaurant/pool area and a smashing private beach. Our brand new two bedroom sea view villa was very spacious and comfortable with excellent beds, large bathroom, three silent and...

Very peaceful and remote location on a beautiful beach. We had a beach pavilion room which offered great views and was always clean inside. To get our pool cleaned we had to ask most days and this would often take until lunch time to get sorted and would be too dirty to use for most the day. The only thing...
