This pub is set in a beautiful location, with a warm friendly atmosphere and the food is delicious . They do a steak night on Thursdays, which is great value .Our steaks were cooked to perfection. It was my daughters 6th birthday and they made her feel so special. A big thank you, to all the staff. Highly recommend a... More

Went for lunch with a friend who lives in Lambourn but who had never been here. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Large car park opp the pub - you need a token from the bar to get out. We both had Caesar salads - chicken & crayfish. Lemon posset and ice cream to follow. Great coffee too. The garden is... More

My partner and I had a lovely three-course meal at the Dundas Arms last Saturday. The beautifully located pub and restaurant are well-presented and the staff (generally) are polite and helpful. Between us we had the Monkfish tails and a pate for starters, followed by a ribeye steak and fishcakes for main. For dessert, we had crème brule and sticky... More

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review , It is nice to hear that you had a nice meal. Apologies that you still were disappointed with your visit. Although sadly I didn't personally say goodbye to you and your guest, being bank holiday weekend but my partner - the land lady did wish you farewell. Kind regards Land... More

This pub/ restaurant is in a beautiful location next to the canal and is clearly very popular. We stayed here on a Sunday night for a wedding locally and had a ground floor room which was very nice and opened out onto another part of the canal. The staff appeared friendly and the lunchtime food they were bringing out to... More

What a pretty spot to sit and enjoy the scenery. Being on the canal it is a delightful setting. We had a river room and that had a lovely patio to sit and have a peaceful meal, or just soak up the tranquility. There is a huge picnic area at the back of the hotel which was well used while... More

Thanks for your feedback, The breakfast isn't a buffet style as explained on breakfast - but freshly cooked and locally sourced products. The cooked breakfast consists of Bacon 2 eggs cooked to your preference- scrambled, poached, fried. Sausage Portobello mushroom Beans The yoghurts and fresh fruit were available on the breakfast table, and should a flavour not been available more... More

We live nearby and love coming to this pub especially on a long summer's evening. You can sit outside and enjoy the river and the canal on either side. Food is excellent and they have a beautiful indoor private dining room for larger functions. The smaller bar is fun too where much of the village gathers for any evening pint.

I went on a lovely August day for some lunch with my father. We both had fish finger sandwiches with fries as that was one of the only things on the menu which seemed palatable yet when they came out each was a single thin, soggy slice of bread each smothered in tartar with a few slithers of battered fish... Thanks for your feedback, Although it is an open sandwich with plenty of filling, I'm sorry that you felt disappointed with the product that was offered. Did you mention to any of the team who would of gladly replaced or got something different for you. More

Booked a Sunday lunch here for 6 people (including 2 children). We were seated in the lovely, light and airy restaurant. I had the pork belly which was a very generous portion and delicious. My fellow diners had the roast beef, served perfectly pink. Prices seemed very fair for the standard of food and drink and of course, the setting... More

The food was good, if not overpriced, and the drinks weren't bad. The location was superb though and the staff were good, accommodating, welcoming, and helpful. The gardens are extensive and beautiful and there is ample parking. Jamie and his partner are great, and very helpful. We would come back.
