We stayed at Park House on our C2C trip after a long, long walk from Richmond (and a near death experience crossing of a highway that seriously needs a walker's bridge or tunnel). I just loved this place, though I will struggle a bit to articulate why. It was not the room. The room was fine -- a bed and...

A group of us stayed with Beverley and Mike in June whilst doing the Coast to Coast Walk and they made us so welcome that we decided to have a get together there before Christmas. Seven of us spent last weekend there and we loved every minute of it. From the moment you arrive, Beverley makes you feel so welcome...

Had a weekend with the family there (with a baby!), and had a great time. Beverley was such a great hostess and went out of her way for our needs. Set in a beautiful setting, the cottage was a dream. Would love to return and have a proper walking holiday soon.

We were met by Beverly and welcomed like family. She greeted us with a glass of prosecco and great charm. There is a large sitting room with an eclectic mix of decor. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Dinner was offered, it was the Sunday roast, and delicious! Roast turkey, potatoes, veg and lots of gravy. Dessert was homemade crumble, and...

Stayed in the Park House during our C2C walk--it was wonderful! Beverly our host met us with a drink, a big smile, and a fabulous room. And dinner was great! She and her mother are outstanding cooks and gracious hosts. Guests were invited to use a lovely sitting room, equipped with a couple of guitars. One of our group made...

We were greeted at the door by Bev with a warm smile, holding a glass of prosecco. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our beautiful room had a lovely view and very comfortable beds. Dinner around a large table was delicious, delightful, and more than ample. Wonderful stay. Truly one of our favorites.

After a long (and very hot) day of walking we arrived to be greeted by a smiling Bev. She instantly made us feel at home and the dinner was delicious. Next time I'm C2Cing I will definitely ask to stay here again. Even though it was an extra mile's walking it was a mile in the right direction.

This is a wonderful guesthouse. It is in a great location right on the edge of Arncliffe Wood with fabulous views but also right on the C2C path. We stayed 2 nights and Beverley couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. We had 3 rooms, all were nicely decorated, clean and warm. The breakfasts were large and set you up...

On the C2C route. Bev and her husband were very welcoming. Beautiful homely feeling. Good drying room for wet clothes and boots. Glass of prosecco on arrival. Wifi only available in entrance hall. Our room was very small but charming. Fabulous evening meal and each course is individually priced with two choices. The two dogs were well behaved.
