What a lovely place to stay. Bev, Mike and the family are so helpful and nothing to much trouble. We only stayed for the one night but next time it will be more. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great location, great service and a great time - Park House Country Guest House is the place!!

A very warm welcome on arrival, the guest house is wonderful homely clean, it's a perfect getaway nestled in the trees surrounded by beauty, peaceful tranquil. There are some lovely villages nearby which are well worth visiting, excellent restaurants n pubs nearby also, we'll be going back to visit Bev n Mike in the near future a big thumbs up.

A mixed review and a few little things would have made the review great. No wi-fi in bedroom and tv reception very bad. Twin bedded room and the tv placed so that 1 bed could not see tv. A welcome packet of biscuits would have been nice in the bedroom after a long Coast to Coast walk. Only 4 hangers... More

Quirky with a welcoming atmosphere. We loved the glass of Prosecco whilst we recovered sitting in the sun with our boots off! Beautiful small twin room with en-suite shower. Glorious views. Supper was shared with a mixed group of walkers, Germans, Australians and Brits which led to lively sharing of views. Delicious Spaghetti Bolognese and breakfast too. Would have loved... More

I stayed here one night as part of my recent coast to coast walk and rated Park House 8/10. The lack of wifi in rooms and poor quality in common rooms lost them a point and a potential excellent rating because in every other respect it really was an excellent B&B. Definitely recommend you partake of grandmas home cooked roast... More

An extremely welcoming haven after a long slog on the coast to coast. The glass prosecco on arrival was a real treat and everything was very cosy. Really enjoyable evening meal round a long table, great atmosphere and lots of fun. Breakfast was yummy the next morning and set us up nicely for the next stage of our journey.

After a long 24 mile leg of the coast to coast, a warm welcome and a glass of fizz awaited. A convivial evening spent, with a great bunch of Aussies and Americans. Food was great, loved the Yorkshire Tapas and the blue cheese. Very comfortable stay, great room all facilities. Many thanks Beverly a top place.

Welcomed with a glass of prosecco, beautiful shaker bedroom. We enjoyed a beautiful evening meal here- cod in tomato and Olive sauce with fresh veg- delicious. Very quiet as in the middle of a forest. Tasty breakfast of your choice- freshly cooked .

Having seen that there was a £10.00 early check-in fee our group were not looking too favourably at our stay at Park House. However, the reality was incredibly positive and we all had a marvelous stay. Our group of 4 were greeted by Beverley and a glass each of Prosecco which we drank on the outside patio, in the sunshine... More

Arrived to a lovely warm welcome from Beverley who promptly gave us all a glass of Prosecco which we drank sitting outside in the sunshine. We were shown to our rooms and we had a stunning view with chickens, cows, sheep, pheasants and rabbits. As this location is quite remote an evening meal is provided. Generous helpings and delicious, loads... More
