We stayed in 2 pool villas at the Kura Kura Resort. From our arrival to our departure we had a fantastic relaxing stay (without WiFi) to enjoy real family time. Cristiano and Roberta and the team manage the resort at high quality standards, an outstanding service and cleanliness, a great quality and variety of Indonesian and Italian dishes joined by fresh tropical juices. During the daytime, paddle boards, snorkeling, diving or just time to relax and read a good book. It was above what we expected. Very recommended!

Absolutely we will come back to Kura Kura Resort. The quality is outstanding. Food, rooms, Staff and don't forget diving. We stayed as a family in two Pool villa's. Absolute luxery. But it seems all rooms have a lot of privacy and are in top condition. The staff will be of assistance where ever needed. Food is Mediterian or Asian, as you prefer. Mix is also possible. The rooms we had where topclass. And housekeeping Jeeps it that way. We went by quick ferry, everything arranged by the resort. Came there also for diving. The school is good and well equiped but we had our own equipment with us. Daniel and Roberta run the diving with boatcrew and serving staff. Everything relaxed and well organized. There are not man divers what is strange. The corals are beautiful and Big. Sight is nota's in Sulawesi but good enough to have good dives. Advantage of not man divers is that you have the reef for yourself. To reccomend definately is a night dive to see bamboo sharks and lots of other stuff. Thanks to all the staff at Kura Kura Resort. We will defenately come back. Our stay was too short 😂. Terima kassih. Fam. Klopstra

I visited with my wife Kura Kura resort for 3 nights in June 2019. we had booked the superior suite for one night, the pool villa for one and Krakal Island for one night, we had an amazing time there and here is why : - The Island of Kura Kura is amazing, tropical paradise with coconuts, crystal clear water and white beaches. along with a sunset jetty, and sunrise beach. - They have plenty of activities to do, diving, snorkeling around the island and other islands, canoeing, SUP, SPA treatments and Jungle Gym - The Staff from the management, to the restaurant staff, the diving guides, the reception staff, the gardeners the housekeeping are always smiling and always offering help and EVERYONE knows your name, your preferences, your program, your package and that was an AMAZING thing, to feel that everyone is your friend and that your experience overthere is customized. I would like to thanks everyone and special thanks to Muhammed Erfan, Roberta, daniel and Nita from the reservations team. - The food is very good with a range of mediterranean plates and asian ones you can choose from. - The diving overthere was really good, the day reef dive was good. but the night dive was beyond amazing. crabs, shrimps, bamboo sharks to name a few will be your dive buddies. - The Accommodations are clean, luxurious and they have all the amenities needed. As I mentioned I booked the pool villa for one night. However the management thankfully upgraded us to the pool villa for two nights for free. the pool villa has a very decent and refreshing pool with a very private setup. - The most amazing experience Kura Kura is offering and not a lot of places can compete with this is your OWN PRIVATE ISLAND. we went for one night for this amazing and beautiful island that has 2 cottages and a separate living room all right in front of the most amazingly blue water. nothing beats this feeling. it is a short trip from Kura Kura by boat and they also provide all the needed food and drinks as per your order. It was amazing. - Last but not least, they will take care of everything for you including transportation, accommodation, food, activities , diving and they didn't spare any efforts to make it a once in a lifetime experience.

The service level was not what I expected. Also the snorkeling was okay but not wonderful. The local staff was very nice but I was disappointed with the upper level staff. They don’t have the “can do” attitude. All of the other guests were Italian and that is clearly who they are geared to. While the local staff speaks some English the upper level staff mainly speaks Italian.

We did a day stop here, so cannot speak to food and lodgings, but from what we observed this is an unbelievably lovely escape destination. The facilities appear just as the photos suggest -- modern, comfortable, well-designed, and perfectly situated on your own exceptionally lovely island. The level of careful planting and plant maintenance is extraordinary. But what REALLY struck us, and what prompts this review, is our snorkeling experience at this resort. The house reef that encircles almost all of the island contains, on the outer side, some of the healthiest and most diverse corals we have ever seen. The zone from one to ten meters of water cover was superior to anything we've seen in the Maldives, Seychelles, Thailand or the Caribbean (of course). If you are passionate about snorkeling as we are, do not wait to visit this location!
