We stayed here for 5 nights in September. It was easy to get a coach from right outside the airport into Chania and then we caught a taxi for 10 euros to the hotel. It is situated on a fairly busy road but that didn't bother us at all once inside. We were greeted by a friendly face and glasses...

Have just returned after a week at the Yakinthos Hotel and found it to be a really nice, friendly, well run hotel. The rooms are simple but kept extremely clean by excellent staff, Maria and Nicki are always helpful and friendly at reception. A short walk takes you to an excellent beach and a little further on to our favourite...

We loved staying here. It's a lovely clean family run hotel. The breakfasts are brilliant. The staff really can't do enough…especially Maria who is a real star. The hotel is so close to the beach. Most days it was a beautiful calm bay with a soft sandy beach, except the last day when it rained and was very, very windy…but...

Excellent breakfast buffet, close to beach (maybe 50-100 meters walk from the back of the garden), welcoming staff that really care. Easy trip to town by bus, they'll make your breakfast/lunch packs for you if you have an early start..... great!

OMG! where do I start! Just absolutelly perfect little cozy hotel. Mrs Olga, Nikki and Maria are among the 3 host of Yakinthos that just made our stay even more memorable! One day we had a very early Departure for Knossos ( which they arranged for us as well as the car rental) even if it was earlier then when...

My friend and I stayed here while visiting Chania. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, close to the beach and walking distance to some great restaurants. Nothing fancy as far as decor, but was very clean and had a nice pool area (though we preferred the beach). Easy parking and yummy, varied breakfast. No issues with wifi. Would...

A completely charming and extremely welcoming small & friendly hotel. We had a marvellous 2 weeks staying here. There are plenty of affordable and marvellous places to eat within easy walking distance. The sea is about 150 yards away. A bus into Chania costs just over 2 euros for a return trip & takes about 15 minutes.

We stayed at Yakinthos with my family and my sister in law family. The hotel was good for family stay and for elderly couples, however the place was too quite for young people at least we had that feeling in September. The beach was great, the sand and lagoon was great for swimming. However no umbrellas were available for hotel...

Cannot praise this hotel too much. Rooms immaculate, cleaned everyday. Staff wonderful and helpful. We had room over looking the pool which was lovely. Plenty of sun beds and places to sit in the shade if wanted. Breakfast was very good, something for everyone, from every country. Great location, 5 min walk to the beach which was lovely and the...
