From the second we landed and were met by the sani driver at the airport the entire holiday was faultless. The resort is immaculate, every part of the resort is stunning, the marina especially. Every single member of staff were so polite, friendly and attentive. On the third night we had a private dinner on the beach and it was the most beautiful setting. My partner proposed and it was magical. He had arranged it all prior to our visit with guest relations who were very helpful and organised everything beautifully. We loved it so much that we have booked to return with all of our family in May 2023 for our wedding and we can’t wait.

We stayed at Porto Sani in October 2021 half term for 7 nights. We visited with our 2 children aged 6 and 3. Wanting a memorable trip to celebrate birthdays, we decided against the long haul options as Covid restriction were still in place and booked Sani having heard its reputation for luxury. It did not disappoint! We still need PCR tests / masks were essential to travel etc. but the attention to detail for hygiene was excellent at the resort, we felt very safe there. The welcome started at the airport when we were greeted for our private transfer, plus the welcome at the hotel was brilliant. Drinks on arrival, detailed welcome with guest relations. Our room also was wonderful, pool view, immaculate and very clean. Unfortunately the week we visited was very overcast, windy and clouds but we were told it was unusual for that week and often more sunshine. However the pools were heated, and the kids one especially warm so our children still swam. Loved the while resort, you can use all hotels at Sani, the journey between them was nice and worth hiring bikes for, esp. for kids. The marina is also nice area to send time, and the beach around at Sani Beach hotel. You must book for dinner, we used the app prior to arriving but that limits your booking. Fave places were Macaroni and also Artemis. Artemis is a buffet but excellent quality and choice! This was our go-to most nights staying at Porto. Easy for the kids and great for adults too. Breakfast here was top! Sadly there was no kids disco or evening entertainment, maybe because of covid restrictions but a shame as they were many kids looking for something to do in the evenings. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort. very safe for families, lots of luxury and great food! We will be back.

This was our second say in Porto Sani, having stayed the previous year. The year before that we stayed at Sani Beach, so it’s fair to say we’re fully signed up members of the Sani fan-club. The hotel, and resort, was very busy, it being October half-term, and with the pent up demand of travel as COVID restrictions were relaxed. That said, it did not affect our experience. The previous year was quieter, but only half the resort as a whole was open, and we did not have any issues with booking restaurants, or being able to do anything we wanted. Porto Sani has a lovely relaxed and stylish vibe, and our room was beautifully appointed and decorated. Porto has a bit more of a sophisticated feel to it compared to Sani Beach - I think because the accommodation is more “low rise”. We were travelling with our 6 year-old, and the warm shallow kids pool was appreciated, but the pull of the “play” pool near to Sani Beach was irresistible to him, and to be fair we really appreciated the big warm pool next to that, as the temperature of the main pool at Port was on the cold side. The biggest issue with coming to Sani at the end of October is the weather. Over the three years we’ve been going we’ve been pretty lucky and only had 2-3 rainy days in total. In general the weather during the day has been blue skies and warm sunshine, and very pleasant. This year there was a bit of a nagging wind which did mean that even in the sunshine you could feel a bit chilly. The temperature does drop at night, so if you’re eating in one of the more outdoors restaurants, it is very much jumpers and coats territory, although the staff are amazing at bringing heaters to keep you warm (although I always feel somewhat guilty about the emissions side of this). The food was excellent as always, although we did feel that we had been going back to some restaurants for three years and the menus were still the same. That is a minor point, and whilst we have had the occasional “off” night, in general the food anywhere across the Sani Resort is high quality. If Porto has a downside, it is that it is the farthest from the beach of all the hotels in the resort. However, it does have its own allocated serviced beach area, which is nice. Activities wise, the kids club is great. My wife always enjoys the yoga classes which are available, and the diving operation (based at Sani Beach) is excellent. Finally, I must acknowledge the staff. In keeping with all of our previous experiences, from the moment we arrived, so the moment we were waved off back to the airport, every single staff member was friendly, helpful and courteous, and nothing was ever too much trouble - I real sign of an excellent operation, in my view. All in all we had another first class break.

This was our second visit to Porto Sani, and one that we had been looking forward to all year! As per usual the customer service was absolutely excellent from everyone including Sofia and Eleni from guest services, Tamara from the front desk, Giannis from the spa, Retzino and Lefteris from room service, the amazing lady (apologies as I can’t remember her name) from housekeeping who always had a smile in her face and Eleni from the crèche! We came a week earlier than normal but were unfortunate to catch the 2 week storm, so for 14 days and with a toddler in tow, we needed to find alternatives to our normal sunbathing and pool routine! In standard Sani style, all the staff did everything they could to keep little ones amused. The crèche was available out of normal hours, and there were still lots to see and do around the resort from the playground, splash pool and marina and we definitely used the spa a lot more having amazing treatments from my amazing therapist (Christina I think her name was)! Sofia was kind enough to store our pre ordered toys that we ordered online in her office prior to our arrival (which is a great saver of space and luggage). Eleni and all the staff at the Crèche made our little one extremely comfortable especially as he was a little poorly. I was impressed with their health and safety taking temperature checks of all children before they were allowed into the crèche each day. Likewise we felt extremely safe and protected at Sani with the Sani protocol being followed everywhere! Although we didn’t have much sun due to the unexpected and rare storm, we will be returning again this year, and booked a little earlier to try and catch some summer sunshine! We love Sani and can’t wait to return!

Our stay was perfect, the service the area and the beach were wonderful. But also, we want to give special thanks to Sergio. Without him, we wouldn’t know all the marvelous sites of Sani. Big thanks to him, and to all the personnel helping us with the questions.

After some time of not being able to get away with the family we were lucky enough to be able to get away to Sani resort this summer. We had such an amazing and memorable holiday. The food was great, the room was comfortable and the staff at the kids club were extremely friendly. Our girls loved going to the kids club every day which allowed my husband and I time to ourselves. A special thanks to Halida and Nina at the kids club. The girls miss you and we hope to see you again next year!

As always just like visiting family it was very emotional seeing all the staff we know after 2 years of not being able to travel there and we were happy they were safe and well. As always we were well looked after and it was my birthday and i was made to feel very special by Sakis and his team. Everything was as we expected and nothing was to different apart from a mask and gloves at the buffet restaurant which was very well run by Babis, he really does look after you and make sure every thing is perfect for your family breakfast and dinner . The restarants were all great as usual and we had Eleni babysit the children as always we are happy to leave the children in her safe hands. The pools were lovely although a bit cold due to the weather. The upgraded 3 bed suite was even better and the spa was fantastic as always and we felt totally relaxed. Back next year for our 9th time!

After 2 cancellations due to Covid we finally made it to our family “happy place” – and everything exceeded our expectations as the Porto Sani magic once again worked its wonders (if I could bottle it I would!). We’ve been returning guests since 2013, and each year it gets better and better. We love it, our 9-year-old twins love it – a recipe for a fantastic holiday as happy kids always means happy parents! Accommodation The refurbishment that took place in 2020 really has elevated Porto to another level (and there’s more exciting plans for the 2022 season)! The standard of accommodation is 5* and levels of cleanliness a top priority which as destinations open post Covid lockdowns is definitely something that is an important consideration for so many (amenity packs including masks and gel provided in all suites). We had amazing housekeeping as always, great with the kids and nothing ever too much trouble; fresh water and chocolates every evening – a big thank you to Olga, Valentina and Trandafille. The gardeners work so hard landscaping the grounds with amazing bright vibrant flowers – such attention to detail doesn’t go un-noticed (and as my kids tell me it’s great habitat for the lizards that we had to hunt for on our way back from dinner every eve!). Dining The Sani app is a great way to browse the menus of the dining options across the whole of Sani – we loved the flexibility of the Dine Around programme which gives you a choice of over 20 restaurants using your half board option. The app also allows you to make your reservations and a huge benefit before you arrive in Sani is that Porto guests are able to book all of their restaurants in advance of their arrival (if you want an early dine time this is a real bonus). El Puerto is a new restaurant at Porto headed up by the brilliant Filippos. We enjoyed delightful Spanish cuisine, great wine and a wonderful atmosphere. Big thanks to Thanos and Anna for looking after us too. Artemis restaurant is now a buffet offering for both breakfast and evening – the kids were in heaven with a wide selection of incredible dishes. Our twins celebrated their birthday at Artemis and were thrilled to receive a cake and rendition of “happy birthday” along with birthday balloons that the wonderful guest relations team helped me arrange – a massive thanks also to Babis who always greeted guests with a huge smile and made us feel so welcome and to Vasilius, Chris and Maria who always made time to speak with the children and worked super hard to ensure a high quality of service. Fresco is our favourite restaurant at Sani Dunes hotel which is adjacent to Porto Sani – a la carte Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting overlooking the pool…we booked a babysitter as have always enjoyed a date night here as originally adults only – one slight disappointment is that this has now changed so the ambience was different as there were a number of tired babies also dining. Aside from this, the service was impeccable so a big thank you to Panagiota, Christianna and Patricia for such a special evening. Beaches/Pools Sea You Beach is super child friendly and has a dedicated area for Porto guests alongside a section for Sani Dunes guests. Shallow turquoise water, soft white sand and ice lollies for the kids makes for a great day. We enjoyed lunch on the beach and a chilled DJ set at the Beach House – very relaxing and great beach service from the team headed up by Klinsman. Serxio was amazing and always seemed to know when it was time for the next beer! We also loved Bousoulas beach which was great for snorkelling and the beach bar team were always on hand with refreshments. Special thanks to the wonderful Geni who as always was ever present to greet guests and ensure they were comfortable. A couple of overcast days we used the pool at Porto (and also enjoyed the tranquillity of the adult-only pool when the little people were at kids club – thank you Vasilis for always knowing that time of day and bringing me my favourite drink!). The pools are heated and always plenty of sunloungers so never the need to set the 6am alarm to put towels down! Infact Sani as you may imagine have a very strict policy and reserving loungers is not allowed. We enjoyed lunch at Sea Breeze bar but also great to have the flexibility to order from your lounger too….special mention to Alexandra, Anna, George and Harris who provided great service. Getting around between the beaches and general Sani estate was so easy with club cars – Kyril and Georgios were always on hand, and on an evening if you preferred more shelter, the hotel provided Volvo transfers which was a really nice touch. Kids Club/Activities On one of the overcast days, we ventured to the Sani Adventure Park which was amazing. Zip lines and high-level rope bridges and obstacles all provided free of charge – 2 family courses and 2 youth courses all in the treetops overlooking Bousoulas. It really was an excellent adventure and special thanks to Zizis and Maria who were great instructors. Our twins absolutely loved the kids club provided by the Sani “Little Guests” team. Great activities and outings to the playpark was a particular highlight in addition to Samantha and Nina who looked after them so well. For us, the professional and caring nature of the Sani childcare teams headed up overall by the amazing Eleni has always given us the confidence to have a few hours to ourselves during our holiday. Overall I could go on but am at risk of repeating so much of the great feedback other guests have provided in their reviews! One thing is certain, the constant theme and part of the Sani DNA is guest satisfaction and ensuring each and every person has a wonderful holiday – and that includes the kids! Accommodation, facilities, dining and location are in my view exceptional, but it is the Sani team that set it aside from other 5* resorts around the world. Under the experienced and passionate leadership of the General Manager Sakis, Christina and Efthimis do an amazing job managing the hotel and were always visible and present amongst guests. The guest services team similarly are ever present chatting to guests, seeking feedback and responding promptly to guest queries – thank you to Ioanna, Magda, Sofia and Sergio (my umbrella saviour when the heavens opened!). The introduction of the Personal E-Concierge and Whatsapp facility is also a great concept introduced this year. I found it super useful if I had a quick query or request. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Porto Sani, with so many returning guests however we struggled (but succeeded!) to get booked for our dates next year – so top tip is to book early especially during school holidays! With further refurbishment and expansion planned over the winter, 2022 will no doubt have more surprises and exciting additions. Can't wait!

I want to make this review short and sweet because I have the tendency to write long ones so here goes. Does Porto Sani manage or exceed most expectations from a service, style, going above and beyond & hospitality standpoint – Without a doubt. They are indeed a 5 star establishment and live up to those expectations. From their personal welcomes to everyone arriving, to detailing all you need to know about the hotel and resort for first timers, to the constant greeting from every single member of staff whenever they see you (plus you can always they are smiling behind those masks despite the long hours they must work). I have written in previous that I don’t think they are trained to say the word No. Well I certainly haven’t heard it because instead, they will provide alternative solutions if you they are unable to meet your need/s but that hardly happens. What makes his place magnificent apart from the facilities, luxury accommodation, food and weather you ask, well quite simply the staff (pure and simple). They are warm, friendly, hardworking, professional folks and that’s why you’ll find guests like myself and family have visited this resort repeatedly over the years. This was our 3rd trip and we are already booked for 2022. This review wouldn’t be complete with recognizing a couple of people like the awesome Domenika who was at the Pines Restaurant (Sani Club) this year. Kudus one of the Managers at Ammos who remains a superstar. It was great to see old friends like the Pascal at Grill By The Pool and I can’t also leave out Sofia and the entire e Concierge team. True assets to this resort and consistently demonstrated quality customer service. So what are you waiting for, go and book your holiday to Sani asap and check out Porto Sani because as they say, seeing is believing. You’re welcome 😊 PS: Ok so we obviously don't live in prefect world and so, if there was part this trip that wasn't smooth, it would be the fact that the wifi in our room was patchy 90% of the time and it 100% wasn't our gadgets because, they all worked fine in all other parts of the resort. I am certain the team will get that sorted asap though as they are very effective.

We are regular visitors to Sani Resort but always shied away from staying at Porto Sani even after the major and beautiful refurbishment, as it is not next to the sea nor has a seafront, thus being somewhat hotter during the already hot summer months. We just stayed there this autumn and were greatly impressed by the amazing service, the spacious and well appointed rooms, and the proximity to the various parts of Sani Resort that we usually use (tennis, football, marina, etc.). We were most impressed by the service and accomodation which I must say rivals Asterias their premier hotel. Thus in comparison to other hotels at Sani, we found it worthwhie and will definitely now try it during the summer.
