This was our seventh holiday to Sani Resort. Due to Covid, Sani Club where we usually stay was, sadly, closed. We were offered a beautiful pool suite at Sani Asterias as an alternative which was an unexpected and very, very, luxurious pleasure and in similar circumstances we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. What struck us the most about the location of our suite was the proximity to the wonderful gardens which are a real credit to the hard work of the Head Gardener, Vasilis, and his team.

I have very high expectations wherever I stay and, whilst our suite was beautiful and immaculate, I just couldn’t help noticing a couple of things which were not quite right for me. I know from past discussions that the Sani Resort management team are all just as concerned about getting the small details right as they are about the bigger picture and it was no different at Sani Asterias. After I mentioned the issues one morning during conversation with the management team (light coming through the opaque glass bathroom doors to the master bedroom & sink plugs not working properly) they were both resolved by the time I returned to our suite later that day which was impressive.

We took breakfast and lunch most days at Water restaurant which has lovely Marina views. The quality and choice of food, especially at breakfast, was exceptional as was the service. We were also fortunate enough one evening to eat at the Over Water restaurant which was a culinary delight and the best meal we have ever had anywhere in Sani Resort. It was also great that the Over Water restaurant is one of those rare venues which is for adults only! During the day we enjoyed lazing on the private beach which was beautifully maintained and serviced by the very efficient beach team.

The Covid situation was managed very efficiently and safely with the usual professionalism, style, and attention to detail that we have come to expect from Sani. All guests are tested on arrival and only allowed in to the resort after a negative result. It made our holiday extra special not having to think about Covid for a week and we felt very privileged to be there.

We have just returned from a week at Sani Asterias which was a truly brilliant experience from start to finish.
We are a 30 year old couple who love to holiday but rarely write reviews but we felt we had to praise the wonderful staff at Sani resort.
Firstly, on arrival we were greeted by our driver and were in the car on our way to the resort within minutes all totally hassle free. The Covid test on arrival we were a little nervous about. The whole thing was brilliantly organised. We were taken to the sani beach hotel which is closed for this season. A quick finger prick (we believe this was an antibody test not a live infection test), a 10 minute wait for our results and we were back in the car on route to our hotel. The best bit being you then feel totally safe in the knowledge that everyone in the resort has been tested.
Sani Asterias was beautiful. Very welcoming check in and we were shown to our room with a lovely view of the Marina.
Breakfast at water restaurant was great. We were greeted every morning by Maria who was really friendly and very attentive.
The staff on the Asterias beach were wonderful. Service always felt very personal they remembered your room number and your drinks order each day.
We ate at a different restaurant every night, all were great and we didn’t leave a meal disappointed but we particularly enjoyed El Puerto the tapas at Porto Sani.
The dine around concept is great. Whilst we didn’t eat from the dine around menu, we used the allowance against a la carte which was very straight-forward.
We went on the complimentary Volvo tour to see a bit more of the area which was great and well worth doing. Dimitris our driver was wonderful, really friendly and informative. We also did the sunset boat cruise which was lovely.
We celebrated my 30th birthday whilst there and were made to feel really special by the staff at the hotel. I can’t think of a better place to celebrate a special occasion.
The Sani resort is beautiful but the staff are what really make it special. We can see now why many people we spoke to return year after year... we will certainly be back!

You know what a stay is going to be like on basis of your welcome and this was no exception. Booked late as wasn’t keen to travel with likely Covid lockdown imminent and still a risk when departed. Arrived at main hotel to be met with a Covid test with result in 15 minutes (why can’t we manage this is England??) then mask off and taken across to
a resort within a resort. All staff wore masks but guests didnt have to which was a welcome change although space safety and hand gel was in your face the whole time - in a nice way. The staff here were outstanding - nothing was ever too much trouble and any issues dealt with quickly and efficiently. The guys on the beach were slick and charming: the waitresses at breakfast were adorable and the food was solid especially the breakfasts. On the negative we had noise issues with an entitled French family next door which wasn’t handled well, there is a gaping hole for kids activities between 8 and 12 with not much on offer (either side very well catered for) and the drinks were OTT especially average wine at £50 plus a bottle.... we have however booked again for next year!

I have stayed at Sani Asterias multiple times with my family and the high quality of service and attention to detail remains. The suites have always been comfortable, perfectly designed and immaculate. The staff is very careful. They are wearing masks and gloves observing all the measures for disinfection and distancing. It’s a great place to be if you want to relax with your family in a covid-19 safe environment.
Would highly recommend to all my friends and business partners. Looking forward to return here again and again.

Our stay in Sani Asterias was absolutely amazing given that the staff not only made sure we had a great time, but they also ensured proper, and more than enough, Covid measures. All of our luggage was disinfected and then brought into our clean and beautiful suites. The beach at Asterias was also very enjoyable as it was clean and very quiet - perfect for a relaxing trip. The food, which was served in the hotel restaurant and also in the Marina was delicious and very well done, always leaving you hungry for more. The staff, however, were the ones that made this trip very memorable. Everyone was very caring, sweet and nice, thus creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all of the guests. Overall, considering all of these aspects, there isn’t a way to not rate our stay below a 5. Make sure to visit Asterias, because I can assure you, you wont regret it!

This was our Second visit to sani.

In 2018 we stayed at Porto sani which was fantastic. On that occasion we had a 1yr old. It was a great hotel / experience so we were looking forward to going back in 2019.

Due to covid the holiday was rolled on to now. Porto sani where we were booked in was being refurbed so we got moved to sani Asterias.

Wow! Asterias set the bar to another level. Due to it being the smallest of the five hotels on the resort it had a great, intimate feel and the staff remembered all our names every time we saw them. On this trip we had a 5yr old and 2yr old, both very lively kids! We had full board which was popular with us and the children. We will definitely go for this option again.

The room we booked had a large terrace straight on to the pool and also a view of marina which was great at the end of the day to chill and have a drink on. We found the hotel pool a lot quieter than the other pools throughout the resort so stayed there most days although the splash park was a good daily trip! We also hired bikes for the children which they really enjoyed as a way of getting round the resort.

There are loads of estaurants within the whole resort, we tried as many as we could fit in! Every one had great food and great service not to mention the views!

Asteria was right in the marina and we often got a lift in the golf buggy when we were being lazy or if the children were tired. The staff were always very obliging to take us. We also used the complimentary Volvo cars when eating at sani dunes hotel up the hill.

We all loved the beach at the hotel which was reserved exclusively for Asterias guests. As soon as we got there they laid out our beds, put complimentary water on the table and were at the ready for any food/drinks we wanted to order. Our daughter loved playing with Alexandra on the beach who was there every day with buckets and children’s games. She was great with the children and also had a Lego station set out a breakfast where she entertained the children every morning with a smile.

All the staff were excellent, Michael and vlad on the front desk always quick to help with questions and bookings. A special mention to pinelopi and Christina at breakfast. Every morning their level of service and attentiveness was fantastic and made our breakfasts a real pleasure.

We were well and truly spoilt! We hope to come back again next year and if possible it will definitely be to Sani Asterias.

The rooms, service and hotel experience were exceptional! No matter your age, you will always find something to do. I come here very often and it is one of the best places to visit in Greece, if not the world. Their service is also world-class, and seeing the way the staff adapts with the ongoing pandemic is remarkable. The hotel is following all, if not more than needed, safety measures to ensure the safety of their guests. Everything is sanitized, and you can feel safe, no matter the atrocities happening in the world now. It's an amazing place, and would definitely recommend to visit!

We stayed at Asterias for a week but it was so good we extended for a further 3 nights, on arrival we were greeted by Kevin the General Manager who was on hand throughout our stay to ensure our holiday was perfect. Checked in by Nikos who was so professional and welcoming we knew straightaway our trip was going to be memorable.
With 2 small children we found the first room we moved in to wouldn't be big enough but Kevin was on hand to move us to a room which was twice the size which was absolutely perfect and made the rest of our holiday completely stress free.
Breakfast every morning was fantastic, Karolina, Nicola led by Christina couldn't do enough for us.
There is live music by the pool each evening where you can enjoy a drink or eat at their fantastic restaurant.
The beach is spotlessly clean and Anastasia will entertain your children in the play area.
I hired a mountain bike most day's to explore the local forest trails, the Bike Centre at
Sani is nothing short of fantastic run by Yanis who even rescued me on his day off when I got a puncture,
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Sani and are trained to the highest standard, considering the restrictions in place because of Covid they really did make our holiday extra special and certainly the best family holiday we have ever had.

We had absolutely amazing 5 night stay at Sani Asterias. We booked Asterias purely as it was last available room at Sani but it was 100% worth it and in my opinion best hotel in the resort. The grounds are stunning, rooms very private and best location close to Marina, beach and pools. We had Junior Suite Marina View number 15 and could not recommend enough. Very private and not overlooked but with great views at the same time. One of the best things was the bed. I was pleasantly surprised by feather duvets and pillows and the comfort was something else. We had amazing sleep there. Also would like to say hotel provided everything for our 17 month old baby including Stokke cot, high quality high chair, cute bathrobe and slippers as well as baby toiletries and changing mat.
The beach was beautiful and again probably the best in whole Sani as its exclusive to Asterias.
Pool was nice but I have to say the water in paddling pool was a bit too cool. You would expect heated baby pool in a resort like this.
Food everywhere we ate was fantastic. Very overpriced but we knew this and therefore didn't surprise me but I have to say the quality was absolutely amazing. We had amazing fish at Tomata and steak at The Grill at The Pool in Sani Beach. Other meals also absolutely georgeous.

The main negative I would say are the food prices. The accomodation itself is so expensive that I think the prices are unneccessarily inflated. However once you are there and you want to enjoy it you kind of get on with it. It was all delicious though.

The only thing that I was disappointed about was the car seats during the airport transfer. Only forward facing seats were privided and they were very very dated with twisted straps and unable to tighten enough. These may meet legal criteria however hotel as Sani should invest in high quality rear facing carseats that meet highest safety standards. All other baby equipment was perfect and branded so I dont understand why were the car seats simply cheap and rubish. This is a safety issue please consider this.

Overall we had amazing time and will recommend to everyone. Maybe next year We will try IKOS as the all inclusive concept would probably work out a bit cheaper.

If you consider Sani Asterias deffinitely go for it as I can't imagine anyone not living this paradise.

The pool is very peaceful as it’s the smaller of the hotels. No daytime music or entertainment that I cannot recall. There was often evening entertainment in the restaurant by the pool but I enjoyed listening to that from our terrace. It was usually something like jazz.

If you book Asterias, you best make sure HB in Asterias is included. Both Water and Over the Water serve the same food, but over the water is away from the kids upstairs. €30 will get you a starter! We eat there every time we go as a guest of Sani and it’s typically €400 for three of us with a bottle of wine. Everything is a la Carter as oppose to buffet and the food is first class, but if going for a fortnight it would become repetitive

I give you the phone # +30-23740-99.400 and did you write to "info@saniresort.gr"? The hotel is not open now and as I suppose, nobody is at the office or perhaps only once a week and you have to wait a little bit for the answer. The informations I gave at the begin of this message are from the hotel bill from September 2016 and should be right. Hope you have succes.
