Lovely owner, Marina, with smiling eyes and generous disposition. She made delicious (vegetarian) suppers for us (special request), and delicious breakfasts for everyone - worked so hard without much help. V knowlegable about the island, and suggested interesting places to visit. A lovely, and spoiling place to stay in simplish bedrooms, but with everything you needed.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a convenient weekend getaway from Athens and stumbled upon this hotel on "smallhotelsingreece.com." The drive took about 3 hours from the center of Athens, and we arrived at night on Friday. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Marina and Stefanos, who were equal parts gracious and welcoming. They greeted us with big smiles, and a glass of cold lemonade. They told us about Evia, and its suffering over the last year, and about how difficult it has been psychologically and business-wise.
Marina spoke stoically about planting trees at a time when no one is thinking of progress; of stubbornly taking care of the land at a time when many have fled.
The property itself is quaint, set high on a hill overlooking the sea and olive trees. The town itself is small, with a handful of restaurants and nearby villages that are nice. Every morning, we were served a lovely breakfast of homemade fares (the usual suspects) alongside fresh coffee and a juice. The hosts were generous with advice (nearby waterfalls, restaurants, hikes) and warm in their hospitality.
Eleonas is the classic inn of Greek folklore, the mountain home, the mythic escape — to the looking glass between nature and sea, as if the two were never distinct.

From the moment that we drove up the road, the owner, Marina and her husband, treated us like we were family. We felt like we were guests in their home and that there was nothing that was too far of a reach. After getting to know us, they were able to recommend some amazing places for us to visit and our entire family had a great time. In the end, when it was time to go home, our two girls fought us because they did not want to leave. We will be returning!

This hotel is just wonderful. Comfortable, relaxed and very welcoming. Marina and Stefanos are wonderful hosts who have put so much love and thought into the operation and it shows. Breakfast were superb and always different and the surroundings are peaceful and views are spectacular. You will need a car and the access road is tricky but well worth while

The view of the olive grove, the sea and the surrounding green mountains; the sound of the birds and the cicadas; the taste of the local delicacies at the breakfast table...what a feast for the senses! Add the kindness and attention of our hosts Marina & Stephanos as well as the cleanliness of the place and you have a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

Excellent address in the middle of an olive grove, magnificent view 10 minutes from the beach, impeccable room and breakfast, great calm and attentive service. Supplement for the resolutely sustainable and ecological option with natural homemade soaps and local products at the table. Cultured managers with knowledge of their region and country. Useful and original advice for the rest of our trip. Well done.

A really nice and authentic place located in the peaceful surroundings of olive trees, with an amazing view of the sea. Marina and Stefano are very kind hosts who provided valuable advice on secret locations and incredible support when our car broke down. Stefano picked us up and found a place to immediately repair the car, even on a Sunday. Eleonas is the perfect place to stay when visiting the northern Euboea region. The breakfast is good and genuine, and overall, everything is very nice and clean.

We have just returned from Eleonas, a beautiful agrotouristic hotel in Northern Evoia and we can't stop thinking about it. We spent just two days there and it was enough for us to relax. Our room was nicely and minimally decorated, the breakfast was delicious and homemade -with products from the farm- and the owners were very friendly. So friendly that I felt like I was staying at a friend's house and not at a hotel.
They don't serve lunch, they only serve dinner if you ask for it. The farm itself is a wonderful place to walk in and they have marked 3 walking paths, one of which enables you to have some extra exercise, and the best thing of all is that there is no TV in the rooms -instead they provide you with lots of books to read.
One thing we didn't like was that there was no fridge in the room -however there was a jar with cold water.
Generally, the style is minimal, but there is an air of luxury. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent.

We tremendously enjoyed our stay there. It was our most favorite location on Evia, in the midst of olive trees with a beautiful view of the sea, which is not far at all. We happily remember the extraordinary food and the exquisit wine! Moreover, Marina and Stefanos are great and generous hosts! We will certainly return to this special place!

An agrotourism oriented hotel with very helpful staff, very clean rooms and premises, located in between olive trees.
Very nice view of the sea, very quiet and relaxing location.
The breakfast offered was very nice although there were not many options.
The hotel doesn't offer lunch and dinner is subject to pre-arrangement with the owners.
Very good choice for the region
