My sister received a coupon for a free night here after buying a case of Tenuta Torciano wine so we added a second night and used the hotel as a base to see San Gimignano. The location is good for seeing San Gimignano and for wine tasting but there's not much else in the immediate area. The rooms were spacious and pretty and the hotel has two nice terraces. It also provides a very generous breakfast. But there's no one at the hotel after 4:30 or 5:00 pm. Our second evening my sister and I ended up sitting in the breakfast room having wine and panini that we'd bought earlier in the day because there's no restaurant close by. Two couples arrived asking where the staff was, went to their rooms, then came downstairs, made themselves 'dinner' in the kitchen, opened some wine and took it outside. Very odd. Not sure what you do if there's an emergency.

Just back from staying T the Torciano Hotel Vecchio & all we can say is when are we going back!! This hotel is everything you think of when you think of a boutique hotel in Tuscany, Italy! The manager Helio, is so sweet- Always smiling & makes the VERY best cappuccino! Which reminds me that all the breakfasts are Scrumptious & beautiful (you should see what they do with the daily fruit plate!) Rooms are beautiful, relaxing & spacious. Great water pressure & LOTS of hot water. My only slightly recommendation is for a less hard bed! Everything was super clean & a bargain! Received a parting gift of Chianti 🍷 Can’t wait to go back & next time we’re renting electric bikes to pedal around! Torciano winery isn’t a very short walk down the hill & nearby restaurants are Amazing! Although we LOVED Torciano winery & their delicious wine pairings lunch- don’t miss it!!

We just spent four glorious days here! The rooms very perfect, breakfast was just enough to start our day. It was a short walk down the hill to Tenuta Torciano Winery but a longer uphill walk back up to the hotel😉 Our view from our room was amazing and the patio area is small but a perfect place to have a bottle of wine as the sun sets 🌅 my only recommendation would for there to be some sort of shuttle for back up the hill, however we were graciously offered rides from the winery personnel and only walk up the entire way 1 time out of 4 trips

Very nice B&B in the heart of wine country. The property is very well maintained and clean . There is an awesome view from the back terrace. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Will stay here again next time we are in the area ! You won’t be disappointed staying here for sure and it is also very reasonably priced.

Absolutely amazing experience! The hotel stay was superb - the rooms were rustic, really clean with fantastic views and hospitality 1st class. A real home from home warm feeling. Helio, our hotel host was so welcoming. The smells of the hotel were sweet and breakfast included home made cakes and focaccia. Italian mama style! We also received a bottle of wine when we left which was such a thoughtful touch and much appreciated by us ;). Value for money like no other - we thought they made a mistake, but no... it really was an amazing package for a whole lot of true Italian moments. Wine tasting (including olive oil tasting) was included in our package. Alberto was our sommelier, a family member of the vineyard and was top class. We were given a tour followed by wine and olive oil tasting. He was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. Would recommend this place to EVERYONE!

Perfect! Highly recommend! Excellent service: Elio and Stefania were very responsive to all my queries (before our trip and during out stay). Elio is very attentive to each and every guests and provided very valuable ideas/ suggestions. You can fell his warm hospitality and sincere care for everyone. Rooms: Spacious, very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, good ariconditioning, and beautiful scenery (our room was facing the vineyards). Meals: Excellent breakfast personally prepared by Elio and Stefania - everyday is different. Tips: 1. Request for a room facing the vineyards. Awesome view to wake up each morning. 2. In case you're tired at the end of the day, you can request Elio to prepare simple dinner meal for you - pasta, and platter of cheese and cold cuts.

A very clean, comfortable well situated hotel about 15 minutes from San Gimignano. Eliot was an exceptional host. His wife did some home baking for breakfast that was beyond a five star hotel. Stayed here two nights. Breakfast was a real Tuscan delight. Eliot couldn’t do enough for us, making sure we were content and happy and we were beyond appreciative. Rooms are spotless, beds very comfortable and overall will highly recommend this little Tuscan delight to anyone hoping to stay in Tuscany.

The hotel was lovely, clean, and comfortable, very much an overperformer. Somewhere I see this listed as a "one-star" hotel, but I can't understand why that is. It is a clean, family owned and operated B&B. Would absolutely stay here again. Why Ulignano? Very close to San Gimignano and a stone's throw from Tenuta Torciano winery.
