We arrived in the morning hoping to drop off our luggage before returning later to check in but our room was ready and we received a very friendly welcome. The room, at the end of the corridor on the right, was beautiful and adapted for wheelchair access. This room has views of the garden and over rooftops to the hills beyond...

This was our 3rd time at Hotel Vecchio Asilo and I must say, it keeps getting better. Located a short distance from San Gimignano, it's a perfect location for touring Tuscany, within a short drive to most sites. Our hosts, Stefania and Elio, are carrying on a fine tradition of hospitality and helpfulness, sharing their knowledge of the area and...

In the hotel Vecchio Asilo we enjoyed wonderful holiday. We stayed in this small friendly hotel for one week. All services was great - fantastic big breakfast with surprise every day, fresh fruits, very friendly atmosphere, in the evening home made pizza, sendwiches, if we wished , a lot of tips for our trips and good recommendation, what is good...

We chose this hotel based on the excellent reviews it received on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Tuscany in a quiet town, away from the tourist crowd of San Gemignano. The hotel oozes charm with splendid views and has all the comfort and space that we needed for a family...

We just loved staying in this little, cute Toscanian hotel. What we loved most, was breakfast. They have baked us fresh bruschettas, pizzas, cakes... and there was also home made bread, delicious prosciutto, cheese... Anyway, breakfast was great. We also loved the location, we stayed here and went to trips around - Siena, Firenze, San Gimignano, etc. The room was...

We stayed here for a few days to attend a wedding nearby. The place is delightful, with pleasant views over the Tuscan hills, and quiet, clean, large, comfortable and well-appointed rooms. However, what really made the difference were the delightful owners, who are caring, warm, and very hospitable and helpful. You could tell how much pleasure they take in hosting,...

Great B&B close to San Gimignano and Chianti region which is more than fairly priced. The breakfast is included and homemade (lemon cake & fruit carpaccio) with local products such as ham & cheese. Nice garden to relax with some Chianti wine or italian beer (e.g. from the fridge/bar in the lobby) after a long day exploring tuscany region. Rooms...

Just returned from our second visit to beautiful Tuscany and this delightful little hotel. The hospitality you will receive here is second to none and is provided by a wonderful husband and wife team, Elio and Stefania. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are a generous size and the Tuscan breakfast you receive each morning will keep you going...

We stayed for one night en route to a wedding. The room was charming and Elio was very welcoming. His homemade pizza at breakfast (!) was delicious but equally matched by Stefania's mouth-watering lemon cake which was incredibly light. Very highly recommended.

We feel so thankful that we stayed here! Elio & Stefania are the perfect hosts. Our room was large and thoughtfully decorated. Natural wood beams. We had put one suitcase on the table provided and one on the floor. When we returned the first day, they had brought another rack and placed the second bag up for us!! Breakfast was...
