Arrived here at 9.35pm in total darknes having ridden with three other motorcyclists up from Carcassonne. On arrival the front door was locked and nobody was to be seen. Afer numerous star jumps and acrobatics in the car park we finally managed to get the attention of a customer in the restaurant who alerted the staff. 5 minutes later a... More

My husband and I loved the natural setting in the a historic French town. We found the people friendly and polite. We thought they appreciated our attempts trying to speak French. The food was traditional French fair. You can find local wines and cheeses at shops in town for under 5 €. The tickets to the Musee de l'Eau are... More

Best service I have received in a long time. Definitely the friendliest welcome I have ever had at a hotel- the receptionist is so friendly! Very simple rooms, but beautiful views, perfectly clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant- tasty (and very good wine), generous portions! Loved visiting the museum and the nearby... More

Before one makes any comment on the hotel one should appreciate that it is only 2 star; that a double bedroom, though small, was only 55€ for the one night but it is in a village of unusual attractiveness. The bedroom itself was small but was clean, the beds comfortable and the shower of good quality. The disappointment was the... More

We stayed here and were on a budget so we expected it not to be top quality, but it was the quality of service and overall attitude that spoilt our visit. I did my research before going on the limited choices of hotels in this small village and I had decided on this hotel which is by the river with... More

This hotel was quite quaint but very comfortable. The breakfast was good, but we strongly recommend dining in the restaurant - fantastic French cuisine at a relatively cheap price. The hotel was very close to the amazing suspended houses and there was parking available in the courtyard below. Unfortunately the wifi was very poor unless you stood on the spiral... More

Let's start by the "Musée" itself. 2 rooms with various tv screens looping the same sometimes outdated info. The screens are very dirty, the games from the 80s, it seems they never clean the place. All in all you are done with the place in 10 minutes, and it's 10 minutes you wished you hadn't spent there. The hotel itself.... More

When you arrive there you think twice before checking in. But it is totally worthwhile! The room is great and the view... Spectacular!!! We booked all in, and the food was amazing, wines also included, with a perfect service. The museum, on the other hand is uninteresting...

We chose this hotel as a stop over en-route the south coast, and although a little out of the way, it was really worth while. The village is stunning and the sort of place that has you looking at the local immobilier window with real interest. There are a handful of bar/restaurants but somewhere that you would probably as a... More
