We spent two wonderful weeks at Ujusansa Family Surfcamp with our two children (5 and 7 years old). It was a vacation which we will never forget.
The crew was incredibly well organized, always friendly and in a good mood. Questions were answered at any time.
The surf lessons with three surf instructors were a complete success. The lessons were very instructive and also the fun was not missing.
The food was insanely delicious and always healthy.
Everything was always very clean and well maintained. The tents are nicely furnished and we slept very well despite the neighboring surf camps - from 11 pm it was always very quiet and we could listen to the waves.

We would have loved to spend the whole summer here. We hope that someday we will have the opportunity to spend our vacations here again.

First time surfing for us (two adults and one 14-yr old) and we chose Ujusansa Family Surf camp. We were pleasantly surprised by the camp, the spacious and comfortable tents and the very nice "restaurant" area. The staff were very nice, the surf instructors legendary and helpful and the food was very good and healthy. We rented bikes which made the short trip to the beach convenient and gave us possibility to visit the local market in Montalivet. This is a must if you want to sample fresh, cheap oysters and local Medoc wines (in addition to a lot of clothes, jewelry etc) Recommended for a social family that want to be active as well as just hang out.

I stayed at the Ujusansa camp for a week with my children aged 8 and 2 and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and we immediately felt very much at home. The team at the camp is always friendly and helpful. Every guest is valued and appreciated. The children were all happy to move around freely in the camp and played together until late in the evening, while we, the parents, sat together in a relaxed atmosphere at the end of the day, chatting inspiringly and animatedly over a glass of wine. We all got along really well. It was a very nice atmosphere. Culinary was very well taken care of for us. The food was always freshly cooked and I also took one or two inspirations home with me. The surf courses are always divided into families, so that my big son and I could make our first surfing experiences together, while my little son was lovingly looked after in the camp. On the last day of surfing, the little kids also came to the beach, so that we all had a nice end to our surfing holiday together. All in all, a pleasant holiday. We will certainly come back again to expand our first surfing attempts.

Aloha to the whole team

Great family-friendly vibe among the young slovenian staff - They were so friendly and welcoming for everyone, and made sure everyone feels seen and safe - Which is extremely important when learning to surf, as 50% of progression made is due to daring. Having the same 3 instructors all week, and staying in camp with them, made everything smooth.
I really cannot stress how enjoyable this experience was, and all 4 of us made huge improvements on our surfing.
Only slight negative was the late and rather loud music from neighbouring camps, but this only bothered the light sleeper in the family :D.

Absolutely amazing place. Arriving at Ujusansa after a busy year as a teacher through covid-regulations in schools and a lot of extra hours, this place was a truly healing experience.

The staff are welcoming, calm and friendly and we felt like we could relax and just enjoy the site.

The campsite is clean and there are good routines on how things work. We appreciated that the families had their own toilets and their own cutleries.

The food was lovely and there was something for both adults and children to enjoy. We were happy to have proper food that was healthy and that kept us full for a day of activities.

Surf lessons feel safe, and we were happy to also be offered theory lessons.

We would love to have the opportunity to come again.

Greetings from north of Norway

To put it simply - a great campsite for families. Our family is always impressed by the team and the ambience of the campsite. Everything is taken care of, food, cleanliness, fun, safety, and the surf school is superb, both for beginners and those a little more advanced.

It's also a great way for children to spend their holidays actively. There are families from all over Europe, which means that the children get to meet children from other countries, learn about different cultures and learn foreign languages. Children get an experience they will remember for a lifetime.

Parents are also well taken care of and can enjoy excellent French wines while the children are playing, as well as excellent and varied food prepared by the excellent Ujusansa chef.

The location of the campsite is also perfect. The large tents are hidden in a beautiful sandy campsite full of pine trees and is only 80 km from the centre of Bordeaux. This makes it the perfect base for exploring the beautiful French countryside.

We come back almost every year and we will continue to do so in the future. Thank you Ujusansa team.

We had an amazing week at the Ujusansa family surf camp. The food was both great, healthy and with many alternatives, which meant that even the picky eater in our family would always find something of his liking.
The surf instructors were knowledgeable, helpful and great with both adults and kids. The staff in general created an amazing atmosphere in the camp.
It’s one of those holidays you don’t want to end!

We spent a magical week with Ujusansa Surf Family! The entire staff is so kind and nice, surf lessons for entire family, including our kids, was great, while the entire place/camp looks magical. Oh, not to forget great food - it was just awesome. Also, we met bunch of new people and made new friendships. Honestly, this was the best active vacation ever for us.

Thanks again for everything, dear Ujusansa Family, you're truly amazing. We promise to be back next year!

This place is truly delightful. The ambiance is lovely, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic, and it's a safe environment for kids to play. They have everything you could possibly need, either for your use or to purchase. Whether you need a cake for a kid's birthday, kinesio tape for a sore knee, or great pictures, they've got you covered. It's the perfect space for parents and kids to unwind and escape from the usual hustle and bustle of life. :)

Hi, We will accommodate you in a big tipi, 30m2, with double bed and 2 single beds. For bigger families, there is an extra small tipi next to the big one for extra 3 persons to sleep. This option is also available for families with teenagers that prefer some privacy. Beds are comfortable and many guests ask us about mattresses and we tell them which IKEA mattress it is:)
