Stayed here for one night en route to Calais for our return journey home. Check in very swift, staff very helpful and welcoming. Reception lovely and a nice bar area. There is a lift if required. Room was lovely, very clean. Beds immaculately made and comfortable, pillows were amazing, really comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge which was really helpful. The hotel is very environmentally aware, offering incentives for those who don't require room cleaning if staying for more than a night. Little tips around the room to make you think about the environment. Maybe not everyone's thing but personally I liked it, nice to stay in a hotel that cares. Evening buffet meal was lovely. Breakfast great too, good breakfast selection. However no plant based milk, yoghurts or margarine. I really enjoyed my stay here, it doesn't look much from the outside and is rather isolated near the road network but for convenience and comfort I thought it was 100% excellent.

Stayed at this hotel on a five day New Year break as part of a coach trip. It was a bit in the middle of no where but it was clean and comfortable and a good time was had by all particularly on New Year’s Eve.
The staff were great and really friendly and went above and beyond as I believe it was a skeleton staff for the holidays.
There was free wine on the tables every night and apart from one meal when the fish main was a bit dry (needed a sauce) the food was very nice as well. There was a great choice at breakfast and on New Year’s Day we had a really nice lunch laid on and the meal on New Year’s Eve was lovely as well.
One good thing was that if you did not want your room cleaned every day there was a label to put on the door and you got a 5€ voucher which you could use at the bar. I took advantage of that on the last night as I found the drinks fairly reasonable in price.
Would definitely stay again as an overnight or short stay stop.
A big thank you to all the staff who made our stay so good.

Plenty of parking, quiet area, EV charge station (2 portals), the gentleman at reception gave us a warm and welcoming"bon soir" as we arrived and was very efficient. Room is beautiful and bed is comfy with choice of firmness of pillows. Eco friendly hotel! It was nice to see that they had little environmentally conscious tips around the room as well as eco-friendly products. Lovely stay. Thank you! 💚

Stayed at this hotel with my family and the best part of this hotel stay was getting back on the bus to leave it ! We arrived at the hotel as a family of 4 only to be split into 2 rooms 1 on level 1 and one on level 3 , my wife's room on level 1 smelt of cigarette smoke and made all there clothes smell awful , we told the staff and they never even cleaned to room just gave them a 5 euro voucher which would not ever get my wife and my daughter a soft drink each from the bar !! Regarding the breakfast it consisted of 4 hot items , bacon which was never there , runny scrambled egg and beans and frankfurter sausage that was cold , there was never and plates or cups and we had to keep cleaning our own.table when we arrived in the morning it was so so understaffed , the toilets near the restaurant were not cleaned for 3 days and were filthy dirty , it blows my mind how this hotel has a 4 star rating and I would never return back here again !!

Stayed at this hotel as part of a singles trip with Leger Holidays over Christmas. The hotel itself is fine, clean and modern and is ideal as a stop over hotel to move onto your resort destination. It is in the middle of nowhere on the edge of an industrial estate. So this could be the fault of Leger for choosing this hotel for the event. However, there was not enough staff at all times, and consequently the food and service was very poor, often cold.. It took three hours to serve a very basic three course dinner, and I mean basic, (soup, meat portion, bowl of mixed veg and bowl of rice, the first night the veg was served 30 minutes after the mains. Many people did not wait for the sweet as it was then after 10pm. Wine was included on certain meals but this was not forthcoming without having to complain to the staff who then had us queing at the bar to get a glass of warm boxed wine. In order for this hotel to attract more "parties" like ours, they need more staff and maybe provide some form of entertainment at night as there is nothing to do there and nowhere to go locally. Would definately not recommed this hotel for anything else than a stop over.

You were part of a Leger group and I have to inform you that we received a lot of great positive returns, not only of a great number of customers, but also of the driver himself. So I suppose that our services exceeded the expectations of most of the guests. All food was home made and served hot. The service was not too slow, not too fast. as it was a Xmas package, we didn't want to rush things... And about the entertainment, we provided a nice party on Christmas, as contracted by the tour operator. We were not supposed to provide any form of entertainment the other evenings. Hotel Horizon Ath is a very good hotel. I reserved it because the reviews were so good and I can definitely recommend it. We stayed there one night after a visit to Pairi Daiza. Very friendly welcome. The room is clean, tidy and equipped with every comfort. Good beds. It is very nice to be able to make a coffee or tea after check-in, take a rest, take a shower and then enjoy a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant. Very friendly employee here too. We had the Horizon hamburger, highly recommended! The breakfast is also fresh, tasty and extensive, hot and cold, you can make your own fresh fruit juice. You really won't miss anything if you stay in this hotel. There is nothing to do around the hotel, but it is ideal to stay after a visit to the zoo or a business trip. Parking is provided.

My partner and I took a few days vacation at this hotel. Everything is perfect, hotel and restaurant side. Spacious room, quiet and ultra comfortable. Breathtaking breakfast both in quality and in number of savoury and sweet dishes offered. We stopped for a night here on our way to Pairi Daiza, due to the hotels at the zoo being fully booked and in need of a place to stay as our journey was such a distance. This hotel came as a pleasant surprise - all of our needs were met and we had a pleasant night's sleep, completely uninterrupted by the nearby road access which allowed us to make a quick start of the zoo in the morning. I went with a group of LGBT veterans to visit the WWI battlefield sites. They were long, tiring emotionally and physically. It was always nice to return to the hotel to a nice warm welcome. The staff were always friendly and helpful and additionally patient, esp with me and not being able to work out the room key lock!
The rooms were very comfortable and it was so difficult not to be tempted to just fall onto the big soft beds when you get back, and not get up again. The bathrooms are good and the showers very good and powerful. Absolutely no complaints there.
As we were a group of veterans, at the end of the evening it was always nice to to sit in the comfortable bar area, and discuss what we had seen that day. As all ex military of course a lot of military chat and also discussing the lives of the young lads who fought in the battles, and those that died, realising the similarities between them and us. The bar staff were always busy and attentive to our requirments for alcoholic beverages so that we could reminince.
