My partner and I stayed for 2 nights at the Postman's Cottage in September. We loved it, it was so quite, with Cape Barron Geese, Kangaroos everywhere and the grunts of koalas not far away. The cottage was really well catered for, with a fridge, an oil heater, comfortable beds, condiments like oil, salt, pepper, sugar- everything you could possibly...

We spent 3 nights at May's Homestead and loved it. Surrounded by the walking trails through Flinders Chase National Park and abundant wildlife it was very peaceful. The homestead is basic with no television but that is part of the charm. We cooked on the wood stove but there is a gas one there too. The kitchen is well equipped...

we stayed at the homestead for three nights - it was magical, like a portal back in time, whilst there are no luxuries or mod cons, the old stove with flute, wooden sink and large communal kitchen table along with the fireplace, game boards and most beautiful setting in an biologically amazing national park on a wonderful island was everything...

We stayed for four nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We loved the peace and tranquillity of the place and the wildlife was fantastic. The walks around the Visitor Centre were enjoyable and there was always something new to discover at different times of the day and night. The homestead is rustic but wonderfully comfortable. This was a...

Stayed here as a couple for one night. Lovely small heritage cottage. Peaceful and lots of wildlife to see. It was great to be there after the visitors had left for the day. Convenient to many walking trails and to the visitors centre. Well equipped and the separate bathroom was very clean and modern. Great location for exploring the park...

Rustic but a great way to get to the trails early and see some wildlife. The cottage is small but fine for a couple or small family. The washroom/shower is in a separate building. There is a cafe in the visitor center nearby but you will want to purchase groceries for dinner in Parndanna, Penneshaw or Kingscote before traveling to...

This quaint accommodation in Flinders Chase National Park delivered everything we had hoped for after reading about it on Trip Advisor. The Postman's little historic cottage was comfortably equipped with everything you could need and the location was perfect for a couple like us. We spent two nights exploring this end of Kangaroo Island and loved it. The highlight was...

Stayed in Postman's cottage for a week, while attending family birthday and Christmas, only really slept there but it has all you need including a very clean bathroom with good water supply and a great location in the Flinders Chase National Park close to all the sights at the Western end of the island. Saw wallabies and possums at night...

A cozy little cottage with all the amenities you could need, including a comfy bed and they even supplied a portacot for my baby. Also a clean shower block and toilet to my husbands delight! Nice and warm with a wood stove that kept the whole cottage warm through the night. Woke to a misty morning with Cape Barren Geese...
