We spent a night there with our children. Room was rather small but cosy and very well furnished (for Polish travelers - furnitures by Meble Kler). Everything is very clean and new. Parking is spacious and free of charge for guest. Wi-fi is free but has rather weak signal - in more distant rooms works only close to the doors. Personel is very nice and helpful. Breakfast offers very good choice of meals. Great coffee made in Jura Coffee machine. Distance to the Airport is 2 minutes driving.

We were flying out from Katowice few weeks ago on a 6am flight. We needed accommodations close to the airport and found DeSilva Inn. The location is perfect - in quiet woods 2 min by car from the airport. We had a family room (sleeps three). It was rather small (but you don't need more space for several hours of sleep). The bathroom was very spacious. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. We had a coffee/tea maker in the room - very convenient. The staff was very attentive, there were cookies and coffee in the main lobby early in am (4:30am when we were leaving the hotel) - nice touch! They provide airport shuttle for 20 zlotys per ride regardless of the number of people in the party (very reasonable). If you are flying out of Katowice and need a hotel look no further. You will not be disappointed.

If you are looking for a hotel near the Katowice airport look no further. The DeSilva hotel is not only just a 3-minute drive from the airport, it is also a very nice hotel in its own right: modern, clean, very comfortable beds with a choice of 6 types of pillows(!), excellent staff at the reception, free coffee for early risers, reasonable prices. A ride to the airport with the hotel shuttle bus costs 20 Plz (around 5€). The only thing that disturbed me was the poor soundproofing between the rooms which is due to the fact that adjacent rooms have a common inner door.
