The hotel is situated in a beautiful, quiet location and has an amazing beach with spectacular views. It is a small hamlet set in a pine wooded area (amazing smell of pine) and there is also a nearby golf course.
We had a room overlooking the pool but also a beautiful view of the coast and sea. It was an apartment, really quite big, comfortable and well kitted out with a kettle, large fridge, cooker, toaster, all crockery, glasses and cutlery. We had a really big balcony to sit out on and although the pool is just below, it was never noisy at all. The buffet breakfast and evening meal were absolutely superb and it was really lovely to see so much choice of delicious fruit. What was nice was having a large fridge, you could get tea, milk and cold drinks from the nearby supermarkets and have somewhere to put it. A lot of hotels don't want you to have a fridge and will charge you for this as they like you to buy all the drinks from the hotel. The hotel does also have a bar area where you can get all cold and hot drinks and snacks/meals during the day and it has a beautiful view over the beach.
The staff are so friendly and helpful and they are not miserable at all. We believe that you should be pleasant to people, smile and speak to them and they will reciprocate.
There were a few small issues in our room like a loose tap and toilet seat but the room was spotlessly clean and had everything that you needed. We can understand some people might find the beds a little hard but we like them like this.
We would say that you need to be reasonably fit to go down to the beach and the hotel does have a few steep slopes/steps up and down but it is not too bad.
If you are looking for a nice relaxing holiday destination then we would recommend this hotel as there is no evening entertainment or "thumping" disco music which was paradise for us. We have hired a car in the past but we found the local buses to be really great and also cheap; the bus stop is right outside the hotel.
We had a great, relaxing time and would definitely recommend it.

This was one of our best holidays. The beach is great and close, shallow waters for the children for about one hundred metres it’s up to your ankles and warm.

The pool area is good, could always get a sun bed as they enforce no reservations of sun beds for more than half an hour which is brilliant. Why more hotels can’t manage this is beyond me. I loved watching people rock up after not using beds for hours and becoming disgruntled.

If you go for lunch / tea / drinks you take your towels or they are moved to the pool bar. Very embarrassing to then Wade through the piles of towels!

The rooms are dated but this hotel is so reasonably priced I couldn’t fault them. New air con system which was good. Rooms cleaned every couple of days.

I would have given five stars if there were more utensils and a grill as we went self catering so we ended up eating out most evenings at a great little place called paradise beach.

We are looking to return.

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing holiday at this Hotel. We had a sea view room overlooking the beach and we couldn’t fault the location and the lovely large balcony with beautiful views 🏖️ The rooms were very clean, however, are basic and could do with updating. They are functional and have everything you need (no tea towels for drying dishes so take a tea towel). The rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh towels if required. The buffet breakfast and evening buffet was superb, with beer, rose/ white wine served as well as soft drinks. Chef does the best scrambled eggs, cooked while you wait 😀 All the staff at this hotel work incredibly hard to ensure you have a nice stay Rooms and gardens are kept clean and tidy. There is a lovely pool area with a pool bar serving drinks/snacks. Steps take you down to the gorgeous beach. There is a well stocked supermarket on site with freshly baked bread sold daily. We just couldn’t fault the location and even though this hotel needs updating we would return. Please note if you book a Suite they don’t have kitchens (not even a fridge). We had booked a suite originally but then read there was no kitchen (fridge is all we needed for drinks and my medication and maybe a kettle) so we changed to a room with sea view, which did have a kitchen. Please put fridges in suites. You expect a suite to have everything you need, especially for the higher cost of them. Also, note to Hotel think about putting a set of drawers in all bedrooms and extra pillows please. Overall we had a great relaxing holiday and we will be returning soon. Please note there are some steep slopes to get to hotel reception/front of hotel and to the buffet restaurant, a set of steps down to beach club and beach which could be a problem for some

We are a family with two children aged 6 and 4. Cannot understand why people have given this complex such a poor rating. We booked on a budget, with no expectations and I have to say we were blown away with our whole experience. The location, apartment complex and proximity to the beach is first class.

Pool area - Has had a refurb with new decking around the pool and a refresh of paint. Very pleasant, not overcrowded or loud and easy to get a couple of sun loungers.

The beach - 5 minute walk down and quite a few steps. If you cant manage steps this might not be the hotel complex for you. The beach is spectacular. A real Spanish feel. If you are expecting swaths of Sun loungers you’ll be disappointed. It’s towels on the side and bring your parasol. Just the way we like it.

The rooms - The rooms are clean, basic but just what you need from a self catering holiday. We got exactly what we paid for and were perfectly happy with our room. If you want 5* rooms, then pay for 5 * rooms. Top tip. Pay a bit extra for a sea view room, it’s well worth it as the views are spectacular.

Evenings - there is no entertainment in the evenings. You can head down to the son parcel hotel, which is the sister hotel 5 minutes walk away. There is a brilliant beach bar which is part of the complex looking out over the beach. Here you can get the sunset, you can buy a meal and have drinks into the evening. It was a great spot and perfect for us with two young children.

The resort is quite, we loved it and liked it that way. A couple of bars, a few supermarkets, bakery… that’s your lot.

To sum up… An absolutely spot on holiday for us. On a budget but never felt like a budget holiday. A mix of nationalities and a real family friendly atmosphere in the hotel. A chilled out holiday and just what we needed.

Please don’t read into the negative comments. It’s a great complex to holiday.

A lovely hotel we stayed half board plus and the food was very good, plenty of choice and fresh food cooked by the chef omelettes and pancakes on the morning pasta dishes, and fillets of meat on an evening, lovely location for the beach and if you enjoy walking to near by resorts as not much was open in the resort. I would recommend booking the meals when making the booking as to add them later seemed expensive, the resort itself seemed quite expensive to other Balearic Islands I have visited, although I can’t compare as I haven’t travelled here before.
The room was spacious and well equipped we had a sea view which I would recommend listening to the waves on an evening was very relaxing.
I wouldn’t recommend the area if you had any mobility problems as lots of steps and hills, although we enjoyed the cliff top walks to explore the coves which are very picturesque.
Would definitely return.

Have to say after reading reviews I was a bit nervous but definitely did not need to be we asked for a upstairs apartment and they sorted out a perfect one great sea view and very quiet .
We thought for the money we spent this was a great holiday staff were friendly and had no trouble .
Shop had fresh bread and very reasonable prices .
Free car park close to room .
Cleaners work the socks off in very hot temperatures but always smiled .
Swimming pool was great nobody left there towel down because they would be removed by staff
We did not use the restaurant so cannot comment on that .

As a basic apartment this is just great clean great shower and perfect air-con
Beds were perfect .
We would return again .
Don’t let moaners put you off beach club just that some people expect to much

I had high hopes for this hotel but was sadly disappointed. I paid extra for a sea view but was on the ground floor, overlooking a car park, was really disappointing. Was supposed to have our room cleaned and towels changed every 2 days, after 4 days we went to reception to tell them that our room hadn't been touched since we'd arrived, a cleaner turned up on the 5th day and then again the evening before we left, told them not to bother. We changed our own towels by getting towels from a towel cupboard outside our room. The funny thing was, there were always loads of cleaners around the complex. We also heard a neighbour complaining too.
There is nothing to do on the complex and there is nothing in the resort of Son Parc. Never have we been to a place so boring! There were a couple of restaurants but they had the same boring food. Alexanca bar had nice food but don't bother with BJs, tried to book a table there for 2 people but were told they were fully booked. Couldn't even fit 2 people in for a meal.
At the hotel, you can eat at the buffet or at the Meloussa bar. The buffet wasn't great.
The pool was lovely and the snack bar was OK but couldn't order food there after 4pm, which was a bit strange.
We were lucky that we had buses to take us out of Son Parc.
The rooms were not bad rooms, we liked the room but the TV did not work. Told reception and they sent a maintenance person and he said it was because the WiFi wasn't good enough. Shame because we spent a lot of time in that room as there was nothing to do and the weather wasn't good most days.
We were only there a week and we honestly couldn't wait to leave, which is an awful way to feel when you've spent so much money and were really looking forward to it for so long. I also feel guilty for taking my 19 year old son to such an awful place.
We will sadly, never return to Son Parc or Menorca.

We stayed here for 2 weeks on our first family holiday since lockdown and were pleasantly surprised. The apartments are basic but spotlessly clean, the cleaners work very hard and are a credit to the hotel. The pool area is lovely and while some areas needed a little TLC it was the end of the season and nothing detracted from our enjoyment. We were pleased to see the notices stating the towels would be removed from sunbeds after 30 minutes if not occupied but in reality this rarely happened and on one occasion a daybed had towels on it for over 4 hours before anyone showed up to use it. The pool bar food was basic but tasty and we liked that nobody was too precious to insist only food purchased could be eaten there. We often just made a sandwich and bought drinks and chips for lunch which helps keep the costs down. We found the supermarket to be well stocked but thought it was expensive, as were the restaurants in town. We don't mind paying for quality but for what it was, the prices were extortionate. We hired a car and visited a waterpark and Lithica quarry, which was well worth the reasonable 14 Euros entrance fee. Driving is easy and the speed limits are low with most people observing them. The beaches are stunning, sand on one side and gravel on the other ideal for snorkelling. The water is warm and clear and the sandy beach is only waist deep 100m out making it ideal for little ones

Our family with 2 children (2 year old and 5 year old) stayed for 10 days in July 2020 at Beach Club Aparthotel in Son Parc, Menorca.

We had a seaview apartment facing the beach and a massive balcony. It was 1 bedroom (double bed) with a single bed and couch in the living room for the kids. The kitchenette had a kettle, fridge, 2 boiler plates and cutlery decent enough to cook 1 meal a day. We did self-catering and even cooked some seafood in the aparthotel. We tried the buffet one day, but due to COVID it was limited so we opted to cook ourselves and visit the great restaurants over the island.

The pool has 3 slides ending in the water which the kids loved and the beach is only some stairs down from the hotel.

The hotel is situated in a bigger complex but I would suggest renting a car for your stay to explore the island.

The best part of this hotel was the big balcony with amazing views to chill out on and enjoy a cold drink and stunning views.

The apartment was basic, could be much better with small changes such as better beds and shelves, there were 3 of us and we struggled with storage. The communal areas are very well kept and clean, the staff at the resort are all extremely polite, helpful and friendly. I would recommend coming here but don't expect 5 star. The area is a little remote but beautiful and airy. The transport is very punctual and all the buses have air conditio
ning. Great beach (pebble). You must go and explore the rest of the island such as Mohon the capital and Fornells but make sure to check bus timetable, there's restaurants and lots of shops in Mahon. You must try out the boat trip in Mahon Harbour. If you love fish n chips definitely go to BJ's very local, evening entertainment is also available round the corner from BJ's.
