Living not too far from the Litcham Bull it now seems odd that we haven't tried it before, as it was prom night and we had dropped our daughter off in the village we thought we would give it a go for an evening meal. What a pleasant surprise, very nice place with lovely people running it, three lovely courses... More

We stayed here as part of the wedding party. Very welcoming and homely. Excellent food cooked by Clive. Sue couldn't do enough for us would highly recommend to anybody. Rooms are large and comfortable. Especially the large family room never seen so many beds in one room. Will definitely visit again. Thanks Sue, Clive and all the team.

The rooms are basic but lovely with some extra touches like bottled water on the bedside tables and washcloths in the bathroom (also very soft and fluffy towels). There... More

Sue, Clive and their team went above and beyond to look after my family whilst attending our daughter's wedding. Nothing is too much trouble for Sue and she worked tirelessly to keep everyone happy. She even took myself and my parents to the wedding in her own car !!!! Now that's service. Firstly, the rooms are spotless. Secondly the cooking... More

Having booked a table for 10, we were 13 when we arrived, hopeful of enough space. The team didn't bat an eyelid and seated us swiftly. The menu was varied and catered for everyone's tastes, from our 11 year old youngest to our 70+ year old oldest party member. Plenty of choice for the veggie among us too. The specials... More

Wide range of lunches from sandwiches to two course meals. We went for the Beef and Horseradish sandwiches, which came with chips and a salad. Good value for under a fiver, only small disappointment was the bread, looked like supermarket sliced. They would have been much nicer if the bread was hand cut from a loaf. Worth The Wait was... Just rang to book a table for lunch 2pm on Saturday. They were pretty indifferent on the phone and then said they close at 2pm. When I asked if they close the entire pub at 2pm she said yes. What kind of pub closes at 2pm on a Saturday? Very confusing. A shame because the food sounds like it would... More
