We just returned for our second visit to this truly special and exceptional hideaway, staying once again in the Schatz Insel suite. Once again, it is like stepping into a peaceful haven, so quiet in the countryside and the large space so enticing with the decor, whirlpool, steam/shower etc and so perfect for dedicated time for two. With hectic jobs and city life, it is a magical and revitalising experience which is worth every cent. Thanks to Beat and Sylvia for their attentiveness and friendly warmth. We will return.

We spent two nights in a one of a kind room. The decorations were just unbelievable. The whirpool - spectacular. The owners were very friendly and discrete. The room, despite its size - was spotless. The first glance was breathtaking. All the candles, the colored lights, the different textures - Gorgeous! There were a few things that weren't perfect: the bed wasn't the most comfortable and I freaked out a little everytime I had to step on the glass. The steam in the double shower took a very long time to heat up and wasn't as intense as others I've been in - It might be a good idea to put a little bench in there. I questioned the fact that, after a set amount, the rest of the drinks were charged. I've been to places that other a similar experience where all drinks were included, as well as chocolates, chips and other snacks. The price is very high, but it offers a pretty unique experience.…

Wow. Middle of nowhere but close to Bern. Friendliest owners. Superbly exquisite suite with everything you could wish for. The ambience is like being in a Moroccan riad. Top notch whirlpool, double shower with light effects etc., music, tv/dvds, stocked fridge, all round comfort and glamour. Worth every cent to get away and enjoy time for two.
