Another wonderful visit to Atrium Prestige, although we did find things very different this year. The changes due to COVID 19 were to be expected and were handled superbly by the hotel management and staff, making our stay feel very safe. What we did not expect were so many guests, our previous 5 visits in early October had always found the hotel to be much quieter and very much more relaxing. We also found the additional board option of all inclusive had a big impact on the calm and relaxing relationship between guests and staff. Over the years we have come to know many staff members very well and look upon them as very special holiday friends; to see them run off their feet and looking exhausted every day due to the constant and often rude demands of many of the all inclusive guests was very sad to watch. Even so all the staff responded perfectly, being responsive, polite and friendly no matter how they must have been feeling. If this is going to be the norm for the hotel moving forward we feel there must be more staff to cope with the extra work being generated. As said at the beginning of this review we did have a wonderful 16 days at this beautiful hotel which for us has always seemed like coming “home” and this is because of the amazing staff. From Katerina, the Operations Manager, who I think must have many clones as she is everywhere around the hotel looking after her staff and guests as though each and every one is the most important person in the world to her. She was always smiling through her Covid visor and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble for her to arrange or sort out. It would seem from what we saw her day started early in the morning and she was often in her office still working well after midnight. She must be an inspiration to her staff as she was helping out wherever an extra pair of hands was needed from waiting and clearing tables in the restaurant to showing guest to their rooms. Then there are the lovely Voula and Nikos at the pool bar who work like troopers making drinks non-stop during their long shifts with hardly a moment to stop and take a breath, while still trying to interact with guest in their warm and welcoming way: not forgetting their part-time helper Cinderella, gosh what a whirlwind she is always seeing a job that needs to be done and just getting on with it. The main restaurant staff are all friendly and super efficient having so many guests to look after, a special mention here for Elena and Maria for their wonderful breakfast service, always remembering how we like our tea. And of course Jani in the pool restaurant who is the most welcoming smiley waiter we know (behind his mask), even this year when he was rushed off his feet he still found a little extra time for each of his guests. Food at the pool restaurants was delicious as always, but we do wish the evening menu was a little more varied like the lunch one is. The Thalassa and Aisa restaurants were warm and welcoming and the atmosphere very relaxed, unlike the main restaurant where we only ate one evening as it was so busy and not the calm relaxing experience we had expected from previous stays. In the past we have enjoyed eating here as the buffet offers so much variety with a different theme each night; plus there is always the option to select your main course from a la carte menu, which changes daily in line with the theme. All in all a perfect combination. And finally there are the super helpful reception staff and the porters, the staff who work so hard keeping the Blue Flag beach and beautiful gardens in tip top condition, the housekeeping staff who looked after our room and all the people we did not see who must work so hard to create our memorable holiday, making us want to return time after time. We will return, but do hope for a much calmer and more relaxing holiday next time.

Wow - from the moment you first see the hotel you are in awe - the architecture is stunning. Entering reception the space is so open, and I noticed that the hotel has replaced an entire glazed wall with sliding doors to keep air circulating presumably as part of their COVID implementations. Check-in was as smooth as always with smiling, friendly staff - all behind perspex screens and with clear face visors. A lovely glass of fizz on the veranda, overlooking the pool, hotel grounds and on to the sea, while the porters sort your cases. Our room was beautiful - a beach-front, sea-view room with private pool - a super treat this year. No-where in the hotel is far, but this was away from the busier areas. The buffet breakfast was well planned, with guests queuing and staff serving rather than the self service previously - again part of their COVID implementations. I'm not sure they know what "small" means though - we didn't need lunch most days! We did have lunch on our first day in the pool restaurant, and evening meals once in the main restaurant, a couple of times in the Asian & Thalassa restaurants and the rest in the pool restaurant. Lovely food in each, but a greater selection of Greek dishes particularly would be nice. The beach was well looked after, with the paths being swept each morning and beds tidied ready for the day. Special mentions to Katerina - an absolute marvel in managing staff and guest expectations, Voula, Nikos & Cinderella in the Pool Bar, Yani in the Pool Restaurant, and Elena & Maria in the Main Restaurant. There are of course many more staff from housekeeping, maintenance and reception who greet you with a friendly Kalimera or Kalispera. The only criticism I have is the change to the board basis offered. This is the first year Premium All Inclusive has been available, and it does seem to have changed the whole feel of the hotel. The additional work created by this had a huge impact on the staff's time, and although they didn't show it, I could see how they struggled to keep up with the constant demands of the AI guests. Although I had a great time and I love the hotel, I'm concerned that if this continues the whole feel and ethos of the hotel will no longer be what I have come to expect from Atrium Prestige over many stays.

Just came back from a 6 day stay at this amazing hotel. I’ve been traveling for the last 10 years on a monthly basis pretty much on every continent. I don’t want to elaborate on the quality of this hotel because I feel like it’s been reviewed here enough. Instead I want concentrate on the amazing staff this hotel has. I’ve never been treated so well and with such care as in this hotel. Every staff member was dedicated to make my stay as pleasant as possible. You can tell they love working there with their smiles and their constant help in any request you might have. To Jani (I hope I wrote your name correctly, the waiter on 1st floor), You’ve made it an absolute pleasure my whole stay, Dedication, humor and most importantly you made me feel like I’m home! I will come back to this hotel in the near future just to be treated by you again. A thousands thanks.

Nice hotel where I stayed with my husband and baby. Nice staff. Nice seaview area (quiet at the beach and large swimming pool). The COVID protection is good. The rooms with own swimming pool and beach view are amazing. Our cleaner was very nice and always worked around our schedule with the baby. Vontis showed us rooms and we decided to upgrade our room after his tour. He was very supportive and knew a lot about the island. Katerina kept an eye on the details and processes and gave good service. Maria at breakfast delivers excellent service and is proactive. Buffet for breakfast is good. Dinner is also ok for a large hotel. Only lunch (non buffet) price quality ratio is not the best ( a la Carte)
