Stopped here hoping for a bit of late season fishing.... and we found a gem of a Scottish bed and breakfast. Billy, the host could't be more knowledgeable about the fishing and the area, as well as highly entertaining, the stories kept us fascinated all evening. Then there was the food... Marion is a wonderful chef and although we would... More

Pauls bunkhouse is in an ideal location for many activities such as fishing, hillwalking and birdwatching. I stayed there for a period of 10 days in July 2015 and was made most welcome by the affable Mr mc callum. I intend to visit again in summer 2016.

Just returned from a really great week spent here. The accommodation was good, the company better, the food even better and the hosts were excellent - so friendly and helpful - I had one of my most enjoyable fishing trips! Marion made sure that I was very well fed and Billy (with his detailed advice) ensured that I was in... More

Comfortable B&B with excellent fishing. Very friendly proprietors who look after their guests very well and provide excellent food for hungry fishermen and bird watchers. We have been here regularly for the past 5 years and never been disappointed. A very friendly B & B with other interesting guests. Well worth booking.

Having just returned from my fishing trip to South Uist I felt it right that I should share my experience should others be also contemplating a trip to South Uist. I have visited Uist on several occasions with friends and we have stayed in various establishments. On this occasion I decided to go on my own and stay with Billy... More

We were met with a very warm wellcome by the owners. Throughout the week they not only gave us good food, good advice and guiding for the fishing, they did this with humour and wit. The house was in full style with themselves and our rooms very, clean and refurbished every day. The best still was Billy and Marion and... More

Back again for another trip, as always it is like coming home. Friendly as ever, we were in the caravan this time but ate all our meals in the house. Marion's cooking is very tasty and filling just what you need after a day out. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
