Just came back from a weekend's stay at the Inn. It is set in a quiet environment, which allows us to explore Muskoka and Algonquin regions. The fact that the inn only has 10 rooms reduces the potential noise. The room is big and comfortable. The host is helpful and accommodating. I'm sure other guests have experienced the same: if...

Nice hotel in a quiet location, only stayed one night. Rooms very nice, clean and well kept with a giant sized bed that was very very comfy. Close to Algonquin national park, which is also great. Breakfast so-so but you can't have everything. Would love to go back and spend more time in-season

Anything materially lacking (and there can't be much) is made up for by the exemplary hosting of Paul Derry, who restored this inn and mans the desk. I think he would have lent me a pair of socks if I'd forgotten them, he seems that accommodating and welcoming. The inn itself has its own parking lot among the evergreens, and...

The friendly and quiet environment is such a treat. We love Port Sydney but keep it quiet so it stays a gem. Pine Lodge is clean and extremely quiet. Beds are so comfortable, such a nice atmosphere to arrive and feel like you are stepping back in time. Short walk to the beach and general store. Owners are extremely informed...

I booked pine lodge with the only requirement of having an overnight stop over to access the wonderful Algonquin park. The lodge has wonderfully clean & well appointed rooms. We had the loft suite and a king room and we were very pleased with the comfortable accomodation. Our host Paul was both informative & helpful, and Port Sydney as a...

Rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Breakfast delicious. Comfortable with lovely furnishings in the common area,. Great for relaxing to read a book or watch TV. Just like staying at a very comfortable cottage that you can call home. Short walk to a lovely beach on the lake. Very reasonably priced.

Beautiful, spacious room and lovely owners. Great attitude and fabulous setting. The only reason why I am not putting a full 5 stars is that there are tea bags available for breakfast, but no hot water and no milk. These needed to be requested separately. Also the inn is NOT handicapped accessible. For someone like me who has back problems,...

We spent one night here when we were in the area and enjoyed our stay very much. The host offered us warm hospitality and a personal welcome. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and even though it faced the road the view of the trees was beautiful, and we heard the crickets at night. Just around the corner is...

We always enjoy a Bed & Breakfast style environment over a chain hotel any day. We were so impressed with this Inn. We were traveling with our three year old son. Paul was very accommodating. He provided us with a larger room at no extra cost to give us more space (our busy little guy likes to move around). The...

A nice place for a few nights. 14 rooms and Paul the owner was always around to help you with anything. The beds are very comfortable. A great breakfast included each morning, homemade granola and yogurt, fantastic coffee and bake goods . Paul made sure we had wood for a fire the 2 nights we were there . Would be...
