Detailed Reviews
A nice resort located directly on the beach. We booked a villa on the beach. Very roomy. King size bed, two day beds, a large shower, frig, cold AC, internet and a nice deck overlooking the ocean. The resort has a nice pool. Plenty of space to park your car. They have snorkeling tours that can be booked directly at the resort. We ate lunch at the restaurant and the food was good. Breakfast was included in our room rate. The price for our room was very reasonable. We would definitely sta6 here again.

Fabulous place. Ideal for relaxing and chilling out. Accommodation very good. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Nicely appointed with sea view. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is wonderful but very Thai. Only a few dishes for those that don’t like foreign food but then why would you come!

We are not starry-eyed first time tourists - what we expect for a whopping BT 2200 per night hotel in the middle of nowhere, located at a small pebble beach with little sand and lots of barnacled rocks, is at least a bar of soap at the wash basin, instead we had to live with smelly gas coming from the toilet and absolutely mediocre food. The restaurant closes at 7pm - the menu looked quite reasonable but the food was mediocre, tasteless bland and simply overpriced. The staff were listless, amateurs at best and obviously very bored.

Our stay was not perfect coz we arrived in a very windy days. The wind was so strong that it was uncomfortable to stay on beach. The beach was very dirty because of big waves brought a lot of garbage. However next day wind calmed down little bit and we started enjoy this place. The staff was from arrival till departure perfect, very friendly, smiling and helpfull. The coconut garden is beuatifull. Amazing swiming pool with nice views. Only one thing i would like to see in this resort next time is more variety of fruit for breakfast. For us Europeans Thailand means also country of fruit. To pinaple and water melon add some coconut, banana, mango, papaja or other fruit and you will be super perfect resort.

+1
This place is not easy to find. The reason is there are two properties with the same name. The map indicates the one inland and not the one by the beach. The coast and the long stretch of sandy beach fringed with palm-trees is absolutely wonderful in this area. There are a few islands off the coast. Ban Saithong Beach Resort is a true gem set in a well-tended garden above a large beach. The main building is where the restaurant is : a huge modern terrace overlooking the bay and the sea. Great choice of food at a very reasonable price. The staff and the female owner are very friendly. Not many foreign tourists come here. This is mostly patronized by Thais. They had a busload of visitors staying on the day we arrived. So the lady at the reception told me they upgraded us. Our room was just in front of the swimming-pool with a balcony. It was a wonderful surprise : entrance with a huge bathroom on one side and access to the bedroom on the other side. There was a lying sofa in the room as well. The room was big and well-decorated with a seaview. Internet was not working well on that day. But the facilities are wonderful and extremely pleasant. They added a few hammocks facing the sea on the fresh and shaded garden lawn. By walking on the beach towards the right hand side, past the few rocks, you can reach a small fishing village in a well-protected natural bay with a pier. Water everywhere is crystal clear. This is a fabulous place to spend a nice and quiet holiday and I will certainly come back to this place !

Drive along country roads hugging the coast about half way between Bangkok and Phuket, I found this charming hotel on the beach set deep inside a coconut plantation, the most attractive place for an overnight stay. I decided to make it the midway stop for my regular 12 hour drives to the south. The rooms over the pool and facing the sea give a magical view of the full moon shimmering over placid waters and also reflected in the pool. The beach, while not first rate, has none of the annoying purveyors of tee-shirts and massage. There is, though, a tasteful massage salon and masseurs on call. The staff are naturally friendly and the food is authentic Asian. I liked the place enough to bring a favorite friend and his wife to enjoy this quiet hotel. We took the two villas at the far of the swimming pool. Very spacious, big bedroom with a bathroom bigger than some hotel rooms, big patio, an outdoor soak tub. The rate was very reasonable compared to hotels of this standard in anywhere in Thailand. I will be stopping there again in the next few weeks as the hotel is not only convenient but also a place to enjoy in itself.

We the first time were in hotel one! ! ! For us it was the real privacy: ) The hotel very small and now is under repair. Shortly there it will be very beautiful. The hotel is located on the beautiful seashore. But I protected the very dirty. It is a lot of garbage. Unfortunately, in hotel don't accept payment by cards. Only cash. We reserved a country house. It is a small lodge on the edge of hotel. Room small. But everything that was necessary for us to spend there two nights - there is. Staff very friendly. I want to mark very tasty kitchen especially! Prepare there perfectly! ! ! Breakfasts very tasty, and the dinner was delightful! ! ! Many thanks for it! ! ! We stopped in this hotel with the small daughter for two nights to make a small break before going to Samui. And this hotel quite is suitable for a short break and a privacy. But in our judgement the price for a country house the high. If to compare to price level with other hotels, with layout and service, the price for a country house can be reduced twice. But as a result the hotel quite was pleasant.

Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, very helpful front desk manager. The beach is one of the cleanest I've been to in Thailand! There is no town to speak of but if you are are driving through, or biking like us, and need a place to stop--this is the oasis in the middle of nowhere! Dinner and breakfast (included) was delicious. The manager, schooled in London, was friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you!

All rooms look out to the beach. Some overlook the pool too. These might be the superior ones, not sure. Ask hotel.
