Loved, loved, loved this experience. The village you are a part of, the people, the cooking classes, the staff, the wine vinyards, olive harvest and tastings, to farm and cheese making, and more. This is a bucket list must do.

Hi Sandy, My Roman Country Side class had 14 but they can go up to maybe 20.Each person picks their own station. Free time is from a couple of hours from after lunch until 4 when you visit different places like wine making an olive oil making and then dinner in a nice restaurant. There are no odd rules except there is a kitchen in the vila we stayed in and we weren't allowed to use the stove or cook anything but we could store food in the refrigerator. You are in with the locals so on free time you could walk around, sit in the plaza or rest. This is a really awesome vacation and I would love to go back and bring family members. The staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. If there is anything else I can help you with just ask. Rosemary

Hi, the restaurants are not dressy. We had people in our group in jeans & t-shirt, and others in nice pants & golf shirt. Anything goes but definitely no jacket & tie places

There are ATMs available in towns but not at Casa Gregorio. If you are staying at Casa Gregorio you don't need cash, just some euros at the end for tips. Everywhere you go to accepts credit cards. I brought $300 in euros for a week & only spent $80 for tips. I used the rest at the airport shopping just not to bring it home.
