Second visit to Casa Gregorio . Gregory listens to his customers, tours were different , those that did not get great reviews eliminated. This tour is not for someone who wants to see main attractions in Rome, like Vatican etc nor is it for designer shopping. This trip is designed to appreciate those special nuances of small villages in Roman countryside. First class accommodations, food ,pampering. . Gregory is perfect host always present mingling with guests Only suggestion more time in Teracina at the Tiranean sea Staff were amazing Kudos to Peter who filled in for Valerio , Luca , David, Giuseppe, massimo, Carolina etc Entertainment was amazing thanks again Massimo and staff. If you want gourmet cooking go to Paris, if you want to experience Italian culture and food then Casa Gregorio.is your place . Thanks again Gregory and Peter .…
Top notch experience. This is the second time we have been to the location. The best cooking school experience around. They pick you up at airport ant treat you like royalty. The cooking experience is great. You will want to make all the recipes
We travelled to Casa Gregorio in March 2022 on our first return trip back to Europe while some pandemic restrictions were still in place. Our experience was very similar to what we have read in other peoples reviews in that the staff are lovely, the field trips are fun and informative, the Casa is beautiful and comfortable and you really do learn to cook some authentic recipes with Chef Valerio. I have recommended the Casa Gregorio cooking school experience to several friends who have never travelled out of the country both because I think it is a fantastic experience and because I know that from airport pickup to drop off the Casa staff is taking care of everything and even inexperienced travelers can feel confident they will be looked after and assisted should any issues arise on their trip.…
Fantastic experience!! The staff is awesome and made us feel right at home. I would love to go back for another week!! The daily excursions were fun and informative. Loved every minute of this culinary adventure!! If you are looking for a fun cooking school this is your place !!
This was my third time visiting Casa Gregorio. The views and authenticity of the village in Castro dei Volsci was breathtaking as always! After participating in 4 other culinary tours in Italy, none of them came close to Casa Gregorio's La Dolce Vita tour. The quality of service, friendliness, facilities, and accommodations have always been THE BEST! The food was excellent! Chef Valerio was friendly, funny, talented and patient with all of us. He made cooking so enjoyable! And Giuseppe and Luca (our drivers, bussers, tour guides and friends) were so kind and knowledgeable. The ladies in the kitchen who prepped the ingredients, cleaned the kitchen, washed the dishes and set up our cooking stations were all sweet and friendly no matter how stressed they might have been. I plan to go back again next year with my sister. Thank you Gregorio and team for another unforgettable vacation! I'm not sure I can wait another year to go back!…
We traveled with another couple to celebrate April birthdays. This was their first time at Casa Gregorio, my husband’s second visit, and my third experience at this magical place. I wish I could give Casa Gregorio more stars! They offer the best accommodations, the finest staff, and interesting tours. This was our first time trying the La Dolce Vita program and it exceeded my expectations. I am so grateful that Gregory recommended this program for our friends first visit. I recommend this program and I recommend the Roman Countryside program as well, having done that twice. Although Gregory could not be present during this visit in April, we were pampered by all of the wonderful staff including Peter, Massimo, Chef Valerio, and our driver/tour guides!! Had such a wonderful time that I am already planning a fourth visit!! No other culinary adventure can match the value and pampering that a vacation at Casa Gregorio offers!…
Can’t think of a more wonderful vacation. From the friendly staff to Valerio, the chef/teacher, it was a fabulous time. We roamed the countryside seeing prosciutto, olive oil and cheese businesses. We visited abbeys and historical sites. We spent hours in the kitchen learning how to prepare Italian meals while drinking wine. We laughed, learned and ate like pigs - in a 14th century villa. The Good Life!!!
We were a group of mothers/daughters who came to Italy to unwind, eat good food, relax, learn some cooking tips and new recipes, and enjoy the countryside. This is not a fast paced sightseeing trip. You will be looking at Italy from an insiders perspective. I never worried about what would happen next -- the capable and friendly staff took care of that for us!
From hours after check-in to check-out life at Casa Gregorio is filled with delicious food and wonderful people! Every outing is matched to the culinary delight you prepare for dinner with the guidance of Chef Valario & includes a mouthwatering lunch. Gregory, Peter, Mosimo & crew are primo!
Casa Gregorio is so inviting and you feel part of this wonderful family. This is our second visit here and it gets better each time. The attention to detail regarding pick up, names, cooking, rooms, day trips, etc, is impeccable! We will be back! Traveling in Italy is easy, inviting and the people are genuine. Travel, experience life! All safety precautions are in place. Thank you to Casa Gregorio and our extended family!
