We spent three nights in a room with a balcony. The room was a bit outdated but clean. The cleaner came in everyday and cleaned. The wifi worked well the whole stay. The room had it's own furnace which kept us nice and warm during our stay. Breakfast was only available until 9 AM and was just toast, juice, cereal... More

After reading the reviews pleasantly surprised with our first floor room complete with gas open fireplace! Yes, the buildings need sprucing up externally. but has only recently changed hands. Breakfast consists of cereals, waffles and bread to toast, plus various pastries. Pool was closed but spa was open. Very close to lake and all amenities. Short walk to supermarket.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel. It was nothing but a dump! We booked this hotel because it was cheap. Speaked for itself when we got in. The washroom was so small, tiles were chipped, and the smell... OMGosh! The carpet was full of stains, and the bed seemed a hundred years old! ...Never Again!!!

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and I'm sure it will be the only time. The Knights inn is located just off Lake Tahoe Boulevard, and at $39/ night we found it a great deal. But once we got inside, it wasn't even worth 19. The Hotel is old, badly maintained, and the shower floor looked like it... More

The location is nice, just across the casinos. No other service available. Although the receptionist was kind. The room is crumpy but at a cheap price, nothing to complain for.

First thing was the small overcrowded parking lot. We got room #26. When we opened the door the smell almost knocked us over. It was musty and like an animal had been there. In the bathroom was what appeared to be a single animal feces behind the toilet. We called the front desk about it and in about 10 minutes... More

Seriously - I thought really sketchy motels were a thing of the past but allow me to paint a simple picture: the room smelled of smoke masked by strawberry air freshener, the blankets had holes and stains, there was a sitting couch that was terribly stained with some sort of unidentifiable worm/booger/organic material, the shower curtain was mildewed, and the... Had reservations for Jan 2 and on way to tahoe an avalanche occurred on hwy 395 closing 395 from sr203 to sr167 - we were on 395 just before the avalanche and had to turn around after 8 hours driving to that point - we called Knights Inn to let them know of the avalanche and cancel reservation and the... This motel advertises that it is clean and comfortable. It is neither. The rooms are dirty as is the furniture. It is not air conditioned, so we had to leave the windows open; no window screens, so anybody can simply reach in and unlock the door. The staff was indifferent to the simplest request (had to beg for two disposable... More

I would highly recommend NOT staying here. The management are very unprofessional, rude, and somewhat scary, the rooms are dirty, and my experience to South Lake Tahoe was negated by staying at this motel. The saying "You get what you pay for" doesn't even do this place justice... I am a normal family man and I feel it is my... More
